NFT: Help wanted from BBI parents

Can you recommend some animated children's movies on Netflix or Prime that are light and uplifting with an abundance of humor. Trying to avoid the scary ones.

Thanks!

Depending on the age of the kids, there are some scary moments in FN. Barracuda, shark, crazy glowing fish.

Fantastic movie though.

What's not to love? They got it all- child abandonment, ostracism, violence, animal cruelty, casual racism. Kids love that stuff!

Same as Up. My wife refuses to watch the opening sequence of that one.

But my 6 year old loved Flora & Ulysses. The younger ones tend to stick to the Disney stuff, particularly Tangled, Frozen and Little Mermaid 9each of those does have "scary" parts though)
everybody is recommending Disney movies
KDavies : 9/23/2021 11:15 am : link
those are on Disney+, not Netflix or Prime.

My advice would be to get Disney+ though. Kids love it. Has a lot more selection than either Netflix or Prime for kids.
Shrek

Mr Peabody and Sherman
Toy Story & Happy Feet

The Toy Story movies

are still great. My "kids" are now 23 and 21 and remember those stories really fondly. They hold up. Tons of fun for parents, too.

If your kids like animals Octonauts is pretty good on Netflix. It's a series of half hour shows, but they've got a couple movies that run about an hour.
sticking with your criteria and not knowing ages
UConn4523 : 9/23/2021 1:38 pm : link
Amazon Prime:
How to Train Your Dragon
Open Season

Netflix:
Madagascar 3
KungFu Panda
Vivo

Get Disney+ though, probably the best investment you can make for animated content.

We took our daughter to see Finding Nemo when she was 5. About half an hour in she asks “What happened to Nemo’s mommy?”

Didn’t let go of mom the rest of the day.
I love meet the Robinsons
