Can you recommend some animated children's movies on Netflix or Prime that are light and uplifting with an abundance of humor. Trying to avoid the scary ones.
But my 6 year old loved Flora & Ulysses. The younger ones tend to stick to the Disney stuff, particularly Tangled, Frozen and Little Mermaid 9each of those does have "scary" parts though)
The Secret Life of Pets I and II
Leap (about dancing)
Lego movies
Emoji Movie (my kid liked it, I thought it was dumb and lazy but no scary moments)
Sonic The Hedgehog (live action/animated hybrid)
If your kids like animals Octonauts is pretty good on Netflix. It's a series of half hour shows, but they've got a couple movies that run about an hour.
+1. The Cars series is pretty good too ...
Depending on the age of the kids, there are some scary moments in FN. Barracuda, shark, crazy glowing fish.
Fantastic movie though.
yeah just fast-forward through the first 5 minutes

Same as Up. My wife refuses to watch the opening sequence of that one.
+1
don't forget Bambi
My advice would be to get Disney+ though. Kids love it. Has a lot more selection than either Netflix or Prime for kids.
Cars
Zootopia
Tangled
Sing
Moana
Nemo
Up
Turbo
Luka
Coco
Frozen
Frozen 2
Oliver and Company
Lady and the Tramp
Cars
Leap (about dancing)
Lego movies
Emoji Movie (my kid liked it, I thought it was dumb and lazy but no scary moments)
Sonic The Hedgehog (live action/animated hybrid)
How to Train Your Dragon
Open Season
Netflix:
Madagascar 3
KungFu Panda
Vivo
Get Disney+ though, probably the best investment you can make for animated content.
I believe it's on Disney+

Ugh… I hate Bluey. Worst show ever created. Makes peppa pig on the same level as Mad Men.
It literally begins with a mass mortality event
+1 excellent call.

We took our daughter to see Finding Nemo when she was 5. About half an hour in she asks “What happened to Nemo’s mommy?”
Didn’t let go of mom the rest of the day.
