To Manningham in 11 against the Patriots was one of the greatest throws ever in a championship game.
Eli s Giants s didn’t win enough playoff games over his career. But for the two seasons they did, Eli was as good as it gets in those wins to the Super Bowl.
to rewatch the long touchdown catch and run Nicks made against the Falcons, which then led me to rewatch the 30+ yard run by Jacobs, which... man, I miss the Giants being good and fun to watch.

And against the GOATs! He beat the best twice. That's what makes him a HOF in my book.

I think THINK .... it was after the superbowl where New England played against Seattle? The Seattle receiver (Baldwin?) made an acrobatic catch on the sideline that was pretty amazing.
NE ended up winning the game because of the bonehead play calling by Seattle at the 4 yard line they went with a pass play instead of handing off to the most powerful runner in the game at the time.
Anyway after the game Bill Belichick was asked about the pass and reception it went something like this -
reporter: "Were you surprised or impressed by the pass to Baldwin?"
BB: "No we seen that a couple of times in the past"
And I swear he had a smirk on his face - while answering. He did not mention names but I firmly believe to this day he was talking about the David Tyree "Helmet catch" and the Manningham sideline catch. Both spectacular catches that allowed for the victory.
Does anyone else remember that exchange after the NE/Seattle superbowl?

Wouldn't it be nice to have a trio of receivers like that and a QB like Eli!!
I also get made knowing that if they could have fielded a competent OL ELI would have gotten another couple cracks in the post-season.
