Inactive? If he is a healthy scratch that would be concerning.

We rushed to sign Booker as a FA. He also seemed to be best pass blocker of our RB’s so this doesn’t seem to make much sense.

There was no late injury or illness for Giants RB Devontae Booker, I'm told. It was just a coach's decision to make him inactive.

asking for. I'm hoping at least.

The giants need a north-south runner. Booker seemed to be that type of runner. Barkley will make big plays but also leave you in second and 12 to often

Penny can do that. He was better than Booker in the preseason.

My god people. This is GOOD news. It means Barkley is feeling good and ready to play a majority of the game.

In a cap league, that's a concern.

don't think Booker being inactive is bad. It probably means that Barkley is sound, and as indicated, they want to KT some snaps.

Roche is likely active for ST to perhaps try and help the pass rush. I wonder if he gets snaps at the expense of Ximines.

Johnson being active may be a signal that Golladay won't play much.

has a point which is great news. I think there are other reasons too.

Golladay is banged up so the big receiver that we got a couple of weeks ago gets a shirt for an emergency contingency plan. Like it or not (I don't) Board is the main returner and I'm sure they want to get looks for Toney in the offense so we are dressing a lot of receivers.

Both Cam Brown and Ebner are out and we are facing one of the most dangerous kick returners in the league. For that reason, Brightwell gets the nod over Booker for his special teams prowess. Somewhat ironic as when Booker was hired they mentioned that he could play 3 downs AND play specials - something that they said Gallman couldn't.

I do remember last year in Chicago. We didn't dress Gallman and only dressed 2 running backs. Barkley gets hurt early and we played Dion Lewis every snap on offense ... ugh.

I've seen more than enough of Ximenes. Give someone else a shot
