I think Gary brightwell might be better than barkley

It is a combination of both. Barkley would be seriously dangerous behind a line that could open holes. He is horrible when there is nothing there.

i dont agree gallman and morris was better than barkley last year, brightwell and booker would be better, barkley is a horrible down to down RB.
These 1st downs where Barkley does nothing is killing the team

letting the saints just pin their ears back on 3rd and long. Either switch up the plays on 1st down or try a different RB who will hit the hole harder and get a few yards instead of looking for a HR every time

100%. He is not an above average nfl running back in week 4 of 2021, and refusing to admit that puts us in perpetual 2nd and 9.

Giants draft a RB with the second pick, who needs a great oline and clever playcalling to be elite. So then the Giants then field a terrible oline and have traditional play calling two years in a row.

This doesn't look like the same Saquon Barkley as the guy we saw at Penn State and in his rookie season.

or catching on the outside. Why we continue to run him up the middle for no gain, is truly a head scratcher. That screams to me of an OC that is stubborn with his play calling and not using the strength of his players. Far too common of a thing.

we run SB up the gut for 0.5 yards. Tough to play offense like that. Perhaps they will figure it out they have to spread it out and use the pass/RPO to open of the run game.
