is a dick. There, I said it. Every single bad play is someone else's fault, a bad interception and he's bitching to the officials, hands on his hips when an RB gets stuffed, playing the media against GB management, etc, etc.
Talented as hell no doubt but, he's a dick and very hard to root for. Just MHO
If he had Brady's leadership skills he would have more than one ring.
Ha, I actually know one of Marino's Olineman and said he was a dick. Never his fault...
So far Jones has displayed similar qualities which makes him easy to root for.

I love those guys and I never understood players who try to show up their teammates. How could it possibly be beneficial to the team?

Yes, I think this must be why he only has 1 ring.
He's had a rather charmed career that he doesn't seem to appreciate. 3 years behind Favre in a 1st class organization to clean up his college game, and then in his third full season starting he wins a Super Bowl.
The attitude becomes a real issue trying to win the biggest postseason games. 49ers didn't lose out on a Super Bowl by not drafting him, IMO. He would've had to be part of a rebuild, and could only imagine what that would look like with this pouter.
And he's better than any QB the Giants ever had.

Pretty sure no one is arguing he's a great QB. Not really the point. He seems like a dick and hard to root for. That's it

Amen. And the very few times he did, you knew the weight of the situation. I think I saw him bitch at teammates maybe three times. One was on the drive during XLII. After samuels almost made the pick if I remember correctly.
And he's better than any QB the Giants ever had.
Well Eli was a lot easier to root for and he brought us twice as many Super Bowls as Rogers got for his team. So how I'm grading them I'll take Eli over Rogers.
and as far as, "ever had", Simms, Tittle, Conerly, and Tarkenton were no slouches either.

he's an all-time great, top-5 all time, 3 x MVP. winning QB who will waltz into the HoF on the first ballot.

Love all those old QBs, esp Simms and Eli. love them. Aaron Rodgers is greater.
So I have no problem with his approach. But it's not for everyone.

I'm not a fan of arrogance but I'm not going to debate that but when you throw a terrible INT that he did he goes to bitch about it to the official? That's just an asshole that takes no accountability.
Again, great talent, hard to root for IMHO

Okay, but what if Rodgers actually thought the ref missed something? Why wouldn't he complain? A guy of hi status might end up getting a favorable call later in the game...

A football throwing genius. He demands a very high level, especially from himself.

Completely agree with these takes. Rodgers is very prissy and visibly shows up his own players all the time. Unless they are playing the bears this year or an NFCE team, I’m rooting against him. Burrow hopefully caps the comeback off with a win.

Did you see the play I'm referencing? Terrible throw, bad pick, period. Lick your wounds and, admit you're not god, move on. That's not the way he rolls.
If you're saying he is trying to get into the refs head ala Jordan, Lebron, etc, that's another story. I'm sticking with he's a dick (see story above about his parents losing everything/his brother)
Not sure where anyone said Brady ISN'T a dick???

I don't know if you can clearly say he is greater. He does things physically that many can't but how much heart a guy displays and how he motivates those around him also count for something on the field, and he trails many in that area.
In a game that largely measures greatness by championships he has fallen short of true greatness IMO.
So I have no problem with his approach. But it's not for everyone.
Another way it could be described is that he often loses his composure.
