Shepard, Rudolph or Ross can bring something back as well. For the guys who are pending fee agents, they'd have to factor in potential comp picks in 2023 - assuming we're not active in free agency in 2022.
I think they are really going to regret the Williams and Golladay deals. Luckily they have an out on both after next season I believe. Doubt there is any takers on either player because of their contracts.
everyone else is open for business in my opinion. The Giants should 100% move on from Jones when this year is over. The Giants are going to be bad for a long time. They don't need a QB on a second contract. It's the reason the Jets traded Darnold and I think it's the right call even if they don't draft a QB in 2022. Use a stop gap. No second contract for Jones or Barkley. They both seem like nice guys let them go somewhere that has a chance to win. They deserve better than working for the Mara's.
Rather than accumulating draft picks. We have a lot of draft picks as it is. We should free up cap space to give us more wiggle room (which we have little of right now and in the future).

I'm no cap expert, but I wonder if the lack of cap space in the near future makes it difficult to trade some of these guys - i.e. we don't have room to absorb accelerating cap hits for certain guys.

This - the guys you would like to get out from under will have big hits.
But yes to Engram, Peppers or Barkley. I think arniefez has a legit point on Jones - what is the point of having to pay a second contract when the team is not close to ready.
Anybody ?
Anybody!
Throw in our 2ndary coach, our weakness coach, a QC guy, and a Gatorade person.
And if it’s a good offer, our DC.
Guys who especially come to mind:
Bradberry
Slayton
Engram
Hernandez

Jones? I wouldn't trade him
Andrew Thomas, Daniel Jones, Kadarius Toney, and maybe Azeez Ojulari are the only players I'd keep. Anybody else is available for the highest price.
I would not trade Thomas. I wouldn’t trade Toney. Would probably move everyone else though.
+1
Green Bay would be a great trading partner.

I'd be doing that today. But we all know that the Giants won't.
This is also spot on.
