Guys drafts have produced some good players:
Barkley, Jones, dexter, Toney, ajeez, lemeuix, Thomas, Peart,
Serviceable later picks in Love, Carter, McKinney, coughlin, crowder,
Decent trades: returning Leo, Peppers, picks,
Decent FA pickups: Bradberry, Martinez, Jackson, Ryan, Ross
Overall team is better than what he started with.
He gets the coaches players they want for their systems.
Does this all stem from a love affair with OBj? I know Ny media was butt hurt over that, especially Kim Jones and the talking heads at ESPN.
Is it the Jones pick because the douchbag media wanted Haskins here who obviously the wrong choice.
Don’t get it. This team sucks but it is do to a crappy head coach who the owner wanted because Belichek talked him up.
This is year 4
Nothing else to say
That’s unacceptable. We all deserve better.
And that's why the Decade of Despair continues...
Giants can't find wins but they are great at finding excuses.

Makes me feel a little jealous personally when teams show up alongside you in the basement for 1-2 years and then are on the ups.
At the very least, he could have/should have traded down before selecting SB. Barkley is a GREAT player, but the Giants needed to begin a massive rebuild and RB is not the position at #2 in the draft to start with.
Additionally, the Oline, which has been marginally better this year, is still not "fixed." Just look at the Dallas Oline and that's what the Giants should have in place 4 years into DG's tenure.
I do like many of the players he has brought in, but the full rebuild was delayed because of this 2018 draft decision, as well as the FA money spent on Solder, Omameh (sp?), Rudolph (so far), Tate....and there are some who really hate that he traded Beckham away.
Throw in ignoring the Dline & Oline, and that is all you need to know why he needs to get fired now!
But this team looks no different than it did back in 2017 sans a few players.
We talk about the arrow pointing upward and a team building towards something.
I just don't see it. I'm not even sure if we have the right HC.

Not every move DG has made has been the wrong move. Trading Beckham was the correct move.
That’s unacceptable. We all deserve better.
Essentially that's where we are. True statement.
I'll give you that he has acquired some very good players. What terrible GM hasn't?
You need to keep picks because you hit and miss. The more the better, but Gettleman has a bad habit of trading them and that is bad for the future.
Keep the picks ditch the GM
They really had no idea how to pick NFL players.
They really had no idea how to pick NFL players.
Huge upgrade? Do you know what those two words actually mean when put together?
It’s quite obvious you don’t because, well, you’re simply not paying attention or just willfully fucking ignorant.
- Nate Solder
- Alec Ogletree
- Patrick Omameh
- Saquon Barkley
- Jonathan Stewart
- Golden Tate
- Leonard Williams
- Logan Ryan (inital contract was fine, paying him over 10 mln a year now, mainly for intangibles is not)
- Deandre Baker
- Kyle Rudolph
- Kenny Golloday
- Jabril 'it's like another first round pick' Peppers
- 'We are clearly more confident in our O-line than you'
Other questionable roster moves:
- Getting rid of Jason Pierre Paul and Romeo Okwara (especially in the light of the absolute embarrasment of a pass rush he replaced them with)
- Getting rid of Kevin Zeitler
- Not trading Collins or Engram
- Letting Dalvin Tomlinson walk and replacing him with the corpse of Danny Shelton
- I'm not going to get into the wormhole of Daniel Jones at #6 and trading Beckham, but personally I don't think we got the best possible value with either move.
Now let's look at his philosophy of Hog Mollies and, more importantly: 'Run the ball, stop the rush, rush the passer'. The Giants can't:
- Run the Ball
- Stop the run
- Rush the passer
Now let's look at his W-L record:
- 16-36 (JR's final three years: 20-28)
Now let's look at the cap situation of this terrible team with a QB on a rookie deal:
- 2022 (according to OTC) current estimation is 450k of free cap space and that is without Will Hernandez, Jabrill Peppers and Evan Engram.
Dead money of currently underperforming players if cut this off season:
- Bradberry 9 million
- Golloday 23 million
- Adoree Jackson 18 million
- Logan Ryan 11 million
- Sterling Shepard (not technically underperforming, but injury prone and we have KT for the slot) 7 million
- Kyle Rudolph 2,5 million
- Saquon Barkley 7 million
- Nate Solder 4 million
but yeah, Gettleman is doing a great job.
They really had no idea how to pick NFL players.
Lol
That’s unacceptable. We all deserve better.
It’s worse. That team made the playoffs the year before. And in the 4 year span will win more games too

@WBG84
The Dallas Cowboys offense is what Dave Gettleman preached about when he first got the job but failed to deliver in his four years with the Giants.
And Dallas is a much better passing team than the Giants are too. #TogetherBlue

Be careful of using the word “jealous” on BBI, it triggers a lot of people.
