Questions from an out-of-market fan

I'm pretty damn miserable today.

Yesterday was a disaster. But there were a few bright spots. Kadarius Toney is an explosive playmaker, the likes of which we have rarely seen. Our offensive line play was not great yesterday with Solder at LT, Peart at RT but, by and large, our OL coaches have been able to make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t so far this season.

Defense is putrid.

It's still only $99 and a way to watch all the games after the games end. It's also a great source for a lot of great football history and film specials that really makes it a good value.

To be competitive if the offense scored touchdowns. When you lose literally your entire starting offense aside from 2 mediocre Hernandez and Solder (and at different positions for the first time this year to boot), this was absolutely going to be a blowout. It sucks the season is basically over again before Halloween....but this is beyond underperforming.


The defense is playing like shit, but they had their opportunities with turnovers and made some plays early. If the Giants are closer to full strength and score touchdowns it's a different ball game. I still think the trajectory is up, mainly because I'm a Jones believer.

The Giants actually pressured Dak with blitzes from the secondary.

I thought it was the most QB pressure I’ve seen all season.

But Dak is a top tier QB who nailed several passes with rushers in his face or chasing him around.

Gotta bring a QB like Dak down to the ground to neutralize him.

When the game started, I think we had a chance to go toe-to-toe with Dallas. But no team could overcome that string of injuries. Like last year, this team has been slow to come together early. Unlike previous years, this team may be talented enough to overcome a slow start. But we needed a win this week or next to keep the momentum going, and we needed to get healthier - not more injured. It's hard to see a path without DJ and Saquon next week vs. LAR, and it's going to take a hell of a job by Judge to keep this team together enough to give CAR, KC and LV runs for their money.

This was supposed to be the year we get a good look at Jones, Judge and Gettleman - and now I really don't know if we'll be able to give any of them a fair shake.

The Giants are a total shitshow, Jones is a great guy, a hard worker, throws a beautiful ball, but he is injured every season and just plays great a few games a season and plays poorly 70% of the time, he is far from a certain franchise QB because this organization is so bad right now that they are about the worst run franchise in the NFK, why, because they have a stupid owner who hires horrible people. This franchise was okay under Coughlin and Eli, but even they were not enough to overcome the total incompetence of thus owner and his clueless GM hires and the stupid system they have in place where nobody has enough power to change anything. The same system that has existed since George Young implemented it. It no longer works in today's NFL.

Has ruined any chance Jones had at being a franchise QB. He is like the boxer who has suffered 2 brutal knockouts, they are never as good as they could have been and most times thier careers are over before they get started. If Jones is traded, like Darnold, then there is hope for him, but not with this garbage organization.

I have been a Giant fan for 60 years. So take that however you wish. I am not a blind cheerleader, I call it as I see it. This is broken, and needs to be put in the garbage where it belongs.

I'm your age Paul and I feel the same way. Jones goes to another team he'll probably be at least very good. Here he has to do too much. As a result the kamikazee run attempt into the end zone yesterday getting himself hurt. I like Jones and want him to be the guy. I figured this year would be the telling year. But this team is so bad STILL despite the weapons(who are always hurt) I doubt we'll find out. I honestly don't care who they trade release or whatever at this point.

It's a good way to watch games from any market that you're interested in, and on your own schedule. It's been glitchy lately which pisses me off, but it's still the best way to watch if you aren't watching a live broadcast. Better value than Sunday Ticket as well.
