Video of Every Kadarius Toney Catch from Yesterday

Jim in Tampa : 10/11/2021 10:55 am
Not really looking to start yet another Toney discussion. I just thought some might enjoy this video of all of Toney's catches from yesterday.

At least we have something to look forward to.

The one bright spot in an otherwise dismal team performance!
he's an absolute stud

great pick by the Giants, and huge to get an extra 1st for him as well.

For the life of me, I don't get how people were calling him a bust after three games.

Just needs to keep his head screwed on straight. The talent is undeniable.
Odell highlights used to be the only enjoyment of Giants seasons.

Then Saquon gave us a year of them, now Toney. Hopefully we can parlay talent into wins soon.
His initial burst is just insane.

You can see on these plays where he catches the ball and the DB thinks he has his squared up, then he's gone.
What stinks- stats only wise- he could

have had a 200 yard day if he hadn't dropped that third down pass on the first drive of the game and/or hadn't been thrown out after that last catch. he had a monster day when you realize he was THE option outside.

I do like him going forward but hope he can avoid the diva stuff that follows a lot of young star receivers.

I agree. The combination of the trade down and the pick of Toney worked out superbly.
Fluid running reminds of Lamar Jackson.

He is not as fast, but such smooth running.

Was that really a drop? Looked to me like Jones threw it at his feet.

It was a drop, hit him in the chest
Toney does look terrific...

..fluid, soft hands, fantastic moves.

A few things.

You hope the kid has his head screwed on straight and we just have to worry about his development and not outside BS.

Also, he'll hopefully learn that you don't have to grind out every single yard every play. Eventually he's going to get dinged or blow out a knee. He's young, learning....he'll get that.

But you can see just the difference between him and Sheppard when trying to get extra yards after the catch. Shep look like his running in quicksand - at times losing yards, Toney looks like he gliding and going past defenders.

That run and catch where he nearly scored in the 2nd quarter was a thing of beauty how he just slipped thru the D and the type of players we need to find more of.

is special, seems like a loose cannon at times but as long as he can mostly keep it in check, it's part of the package. Talent is undeniable.
one thing not being talked about enough
UConn4523 : 10/11/2021 3:26 pm : link
for all those people that think he's a loose cannon, is he ran over to Jones being carted off. That alone is something you love to see but it also raises a question - where the fucks posting Jones getting concussed talking shit about to it Toney all game too? Would put some additional context into what happened yesterday.

The 4th and 2, throw to Toney in the end zone, how on earth was that not flagged for PI? The back bowled Toney over.
the catch where he made the move at the point of the catch

Was special. He burned 3 Cowboys DBs on that play and then almost took it in. That play showed an insane level of field awareness. Not many guys can make a play like that, especially when the primary defender is the best CB in football.

Kid has serious talent. Just needs to be more Zen and consistent and he’ll be great.
