have had a 200 yard day if he hadn't dropped that third down pass on the first drive of the game and/or hadn't been thrown out after that last catch. he had a monster day when you realize he was THE option outside.
I do like him going forward but hope he can avoid the diva stuff that follows a lot of young star receivers.

Was that really a drop? Looked to me like Jones threw it at his feet.

You hope the kid has his head screwed on straight and we just have to worry about his development and not outside BS.
Also, he'll hopefully learn that you don't have to grind out every single yard every play. Eventually he's going to get dinged or blow out a knee. He's young, learning....he'll get that.
But you can see just the difference between him and Sheppard when trying to get extra yards after the catch. Shep look like his running in quicksand - at times losing yards, Toney looks like he gliding and going past defenders.
That run and catch where he nearly scored in the 2nd quarter was a thing of beauty how he just slipped thru the D and the type of players we need to find more of.
for all those people that think he's a loose cannon, is he ran over to Jones being carted off. That alone is something you love to see but it also raises a question - where the fucks posting Jones getting concussed talking shit about to it Toney all game too? Would put some additional context into what happened yesterday.
For a guy that isn't very big, he's good at winning battles for the
Was special. He burned 3 Cowboys DBs on that play and then almost took it in. That play showed an insane level of field awareness. Not many guys can make a play like that, especially when the primary defender is the best CB in football.
Kid has serious talent. Just needs to be more Zen and consistent and he’ll be great.
The one bright spot in an otherwise dismal team performance!
For the life of me, I don't get how people were calling him a bust after three games.

I agree. The combination of the trade down and the pick of Toney worked out superbly.

It was a drop, hit him in the chest
A few things.
