Martinez going down was huge. No pass rush makes it hard for the team to cover the pass. Really miss Tomlinson as the middle is soft with Shelton so run d sucks as well....Team cant get a stop when it counts and for whatever reason and I am guessing coaching they always cave and give up points at the end of the half and late 4th quarter.

Teams are mostly running on the edge. Perimeter.
And the biggest gaping problem is at ILB. When Reggie freaking Ragland is making most of your plays - it's a big problem.
PS. Vikings run defense is equally babysoft. Tomlinson and his run stop rate is greatly exaggerated. They allow 4.7 YPC. They allowed the Lions to rush for over 100 yesterday. The Lions!

I'm more fascinated with the level and never-ending streak of ineptness more than anything else.
I'm actually interested to see how much longer we can be this bad. I think at some point in the future there MUST be a case study done a GM who got close to every draft pick and FA signing wrong for literally years at a time. It must be done for science, if nothing else.
