* 1-4 record
* 0-2 in division
* 3 games out of first place in NFCE after 5 games
* Starting QB Jones concussed
* Lemieux, Gates, Martinez all out for season
* Other key Offensive starters injured - Barkley, Thomas, Golladay, Shepard, Slayton, and now maybe Toney(?)
* Players losing control of emotions on field
* Obvious coaching issues from sideline each game
This organization is in a fucking ditch right now. At this rate, it wouldn't surprise me if Mara cleans house @ season's end...DG, JJ, the coaching staff, & hopefully the rest of the FO.
4 Super Bowls in 36 years. There’s a difference between having a shitty few years, or decade, and being a pathetic franchise.
Ok so we aren’t a pathetic franchise historically. Is that supposed to make us feel awesome about the present? Who cares what they did 30 years ago. They’ve been abysmal that last 10 years and many of us are tired of the same shit every season.

Have we been watching the same Giants? IMO DG is gone and we get a sob story about how injuries sunk or season and how hard the team played for JJ despite that.
I too think DG is gone; Mara might be a football moron, but even he isn't that dumb to bring back Gettleman. And yes, I'm expecting a lot of 'But if not for the injuries' BS come the January pressers.

I just saw they’ve had a shitty decade. As for feeling better, I honestly don’t care about the feelings of over emotional fans. But, again, there is a difference between being bad for a decade and being a pathetic franchise. Some on here are fellating the Cardinals and Bills as model franchises. Neither have won a damn thing.

Agree. As much as our recent history has sucked, ask a Lions fan if they'd trade the last 20 years with us. Or a Browns fan. Or a Cards fan. Or a Bengals fan. Or a Jets fan. Or a Phins fan. I could go on, but you get my point.

Lorenzo Carter - "It's been worse!"
Correct, correct, and (recently) correct.

I have a feeling it will be a mutual “retirement”
However he goes, so be it. Just don't promote from within, especially Abrams. This organization needs a voice from outside the 'Giants family'.
