Have a sinking feeling that Mara might trot out the 'Look @ all the injuries!' BS @ season's end to justify the status quo.
No. I don't the injuries are BS, though I suspect you'll see some guys start pulling a Phillippi Sparks in terms of lower legs injuries as the losses pile up.
What I mean is that Mara will use the injury excuse as to why we had a garbage season. It's the convenient excuse for him.

I honestly think Gettleman is out the door no matter ehat, question now is Judge, hoe big of a voice does he have?..
For me i would hire the best GM i could find and let him decide on the coach, then either Judge or the new coach and the new gm decide on Jones
I agree re. DG. I think he's a goner. JJ...that's up in the air. There's also the financial considerations. Are we still paying McAdoo & Shurmur? Does Mara want to pay ANOTHER fired coach?
If I had a gun to my head, I think JJ is the coach next fall. I'm okay with that, though I think he's made a ton of mistakes so far this season. But I'm not as down on him as others are. He's a young coach. He'll make mistakes. And I get that it's a 'moral victory' thing but the team plays hard for him & seem to respect him. I just want him to be more aggressive & stop coaching not to lose, but to win.

I think he is back to unless the team completely inplodes which i dont see happening..
He hired Garrett because he was a previous head coach and it was somrone to lean on and it has backfired..
Get rid of Graham and Garrett and hire two experienced guys that he can trust to run the offense and defense and he can worry about managing the game..
Can Judge hire a writer to help him with post game interviews?
* I saw some good things out there....
* I can't answer that until I see the tape...
* We have things to clean up...
* We have to execute better as players and coaches...
It's the same glib, monotonous, diatribe every week. It's amazing that he sees good things out there, yet can't see the bad without needing the tape to see it. Coach if you're reading this you sound robotic and dull. Your credibility is at stake. Give us real answers to the salient questions and not the same old worn cliches.

I dont think he really cares what he sounds like to the media, i dont think many coaches care what they sound like to the media
He’s got to make sure the QB understands he needs to be in the game for the next play or next drive. Not injured and in protocol. Not to mention the long term impact of these injuries. Wise up man.
If Mara has to pay three coaches because of his meddling too bad
He can afford it. Bring someone in with experience so there is a chance they can improve the product. Why should let Judge use this team any further as an apprenticeship for some college head coaching job.
If Joe Judge is fired Garrett will be the next head coach. They did it with McAdoo and now they've done it with Garrett. They hedged their bet and forced Garrett on Judge. No doubt about it.
When they hired him, they hired a guy who has never coached before and they knew he would make mistakes and expected that he would learn from them. Two years on the job, and one of them was during Covid, is not enough time. He has made mistakes, not unexpected, but to me doesn’t look like he’s in over his head. As long as the players play for him, and he doesn’t do anything outrageously stupid, he’ll be back and should be back. Last year, everybody loved him and Graham. After 5 games, people are ready to dump on them. Now, Gettleman is a different story. I think his hiring was a huge mistake and he’s a goner no matter what happens the rest of the year.
The question is will they essentially give him full control and make Kyle O'Brien or another one of his cronies the GM or how will they manage the new GM search.
I am guessing he gets full control.

Thia is about what you get around the league every week, the same tired answers. Why any of you care about postgame comments is beyond me. But your constant sniveling about it is annoying. Don't watch the press conferences. What can I tell you. Hint, they don't matter.
the Giants need to ride this out with JJ. Otherwise it's just more of the same. 5 head coaches in 6 years is not the way to build a winning organization. Give him 4 or 5 years and then evaluate. This is where the Giants are at this point.
