Toney NOT getting suspended !

If that catches the helmet or facemask, he might be dealing with a broken hand/fingers. A veteran would've gone uppercut in that situation. Ha!

I have never understood the punching someone with a helmet on....I'd rather see a good gut punch, but to hit a helmet is just silly....its even silly in hockey when they fight with visors on....drop the gloves and the helmets and lets go.

Kazee made a late, dirty play, but unfortunately, that's a regular part of the game.

Toney's reaction was over the top and not exactly the type of instinct you want the kid to act on. Hopefully he gets his head on straight soon.

concerns came flooding back. But the instant they showed him getting thrown to the ground by the same Dallas player minutes before, I was in his corner. Dallas got away with a bunch of crap and never had it called. I mean the play AFTER DJ goes out with a concussion Booker gets his helmet ripped off trying to get in the endzone and there is no penalty, no fine nothing. The league gets worse and worse with their cherry picking of what is a penalty, what is finable and what can be reviewed.

That's a Cowboys game, all right.

The suspension probablly would have only been for a couple of games. His injury status might cause that anyway.

Yup. Hopefully he learns the lesson, while getting away with serious consequences. I get that emotions run hot out there, but punching a helmet or face mask is bad for business

Surprised, but he should have gotten a suspension for punching a player. Giants get a break here.

Betting Jerruh's relationship to the officials may have something to do with all the calls going Dallas's way. Let's face it. If that was Dak running and taking the helmet to helmet hit that concussed Jones, the Giants would have been flagged. I saw him hit several times in the pocket that would have resulted in a personal foul call if he was Dak.

If he broke his hand, he could really screw with his own career. Open hand slap would have been better :)

I think the league realized the Giants would be even more abysmal to watch if Toney was suspended so they threw us a bone.

was not suspended as he did not deserve it. The refs clearly were over there heads or had their eyes closed. And not just on that play. I hope JJ can guide KT so that he does not wind up with the meltdowns OBJ had in the game and on the sidelines. JJ is much younger than Coughlin and he needs to really focus on protecting KT so he can avoid the mis-steps that young people/players can sometimes make.

KT was the one Giant-at least to these untrained eyes-who went up & checked if DJ was alright as he was on the cart.

Him throwing a punch was stupid, but I think he got the message from JJ that that won't be condoned going forward. And the kid seems like he was a burning desire to win. We could use more of those guys on this roster.

that's the case he'll put the experience behind him and handle it better in the future.

OBJ was suspended for taking a 20 yard running start and spearing Norman in the head.
