Joe judge said in defending Solder "he did a lot of good things."
So yeah, he is going to shit on Solder at a press conference.
If you watched it, he kind of stumbles and then comes up with the "did some good things" quote...
You dont have to swing from one extreme or another, there is a way to answer that question with some integrity. Just don't look like jack ass if we all saw the same thing.
"Oshane Ximines hasn’t had a sack in 24 games, spanning more than 300 snaps."
Remember when Gettleman said players wouldn't be "on scholarship" anymore, and every position would be open to competition?
They why the hell is Ximenes still in games? He sucks. These 15 wild stats explain exactly why Giants are 1-4 — and it might only get worse - ( New Window )
I know everyone is shitting on the secondary, but I will not at all until we are at the very least just below league average or average in our pressure rate. There is no secondary on EARTH that can survive this type of effort from the front seven, it is impossible.
we are 1-4. They cannot stop people when the moment is big and is needed- 2 mins before half, end of the game and immediately following one of our scores.

So what do you want him to say? your Coach Judge in that situation, coming off of a loss and a ton of injuries and your asked about Solder, what do you say?

I hate to be this guy but this article did nothing but quantify a bunch of things that are painfully obvious to anyone who has watched the Giants play this year.

As expected, no sign of Saquon Barkley (ankle) or Kenny Golladay (knee). LT Andrew Thomas (foot) was on the side during practice. That’s less than what he did last week. LG Matt Skura was also on the side. Noted Sunday that it looked like Skura had a knee injury pregame.

Which is weird because there was an article earlier where Thomas said he had a workout and felt like he did before the injury
most do not come back within a week. Very few players get concussed to the point where they can't walk on their own to the locker room. Given that DJ was in the latter category, it would seem unlikely he would clear protocol so quickly as to play Sunday. Now, of course, everyone is different and it is certainly possible he clears this week, I just am not optimistic based on what I have observed in recent years that it is likely or even better than like 25/75.

Not saying your wrong but teddy bridgewater literally just came back last week without missing a game..
Jones seems to be on step 3 of the 5 steps to return already
With them available, we won't have to use that rookie so much anymore :)
Quite frankly I’d still like to see the rookie get a majority of the passes that would’ve gone their way. Shep is a security blanket and Slayton has not been that great this year either. Get the ball into a playmakers hands, that’s what winning teams do!

Correct - he has to be able to do football activities without symptoms...

Mahomes did play the next week, but it came out that he never suffered a concussion which is why he passed all the tests so quickly. Apparently a nerve in his neck got pinched which caused the dizziness. Looking back at that hit, I could see that since his head wasn't really hit on that play.

Barkley and Golladay wont practice
At this point unless a setback id be surprised if he doesnt play
I read Shep is practicing.

I still do not think he plays this week. He still has to clear for full football activities. So good news for next week.

Shep, Slayton, and Peppers all practicing. IF Thomas can get back out there, maybe the Giants have a bit more of a puncher's chance this week?

The fact he is on the field, in pads, throwing and doing agility drills and running is a really good sign..
unless there is a setback id be shocked if he doesnt play
Not worth it at all, get him healthy for hopefully a productive rest of 2021. We need the evaluation.

I guess they could give Toney some carries as well.

are the Giants seriously looking to trade for a cornerback? Can't believe we'd do this considering we need as much draft capital as possible.

What about the CBs we traded for in pre season?

SOlder - Hernandez - Price - Martin - Peart almost a guarantee at this point.
Yikes.
