My 5 most important Giants for the rest of the season:

GNewGiants : 10/13/2021 12:38 pm
If we are really going to be objective, we should all realize that this season is all but over - however we can still look at some young pieces as potential building blocks. We have two first round picks with holes just about everywhere, so the growth an development of these players can be vital going forward.

1. Andrew Thomas: He is number one for obvious reasons, because our OL has been awful and he has showed this season that he can be a stud LT for us. I understand that he is dinged up, but if he can continue to play at a high level - we can move forward with one one of the most important positions on the football field in good hands.

2. Matthew Peart: Much like Thomas, we can solidify the other book end with a massive player who showed last week he can play at a pretty high level. I understand there will be ups and downs this year - but he needs to play so we can see what we have in him. Solder is terrible and not going to get any better, so why not try out the youngster? Again, development is huge with some of these guys and peart can be another building block for us.

3. Kadarius Toney: My goodness, what a show he has put on the last two weeks. Many people were hopping on the Smith bandwagon to draft, but this WR brings something we havent had since OBJ. There are a ton of maturity issues but what we saw the last two weeks is something promising. Lets get him on the field and stop punching people. If he can continue to grow and learn the offense and passing system - this could be a great pick.

4. Azeez Ojulari: He has been up and down for us this year but he is still 21. Most juniors who are going to declare are older than him already so his growth can only get higher. Can he expand his repertoire as a pass rusher? Can he set the edge? Our pass rush has been horrible all year so its even more important that he can show that he is aplayer.

5. Xavier McKinney: Guy is still basically a rookie but it hasnt been a good start to this year for him. Pretty non-existent in every facet, but again still young and inexperience. We need him to be a difference maker back there since Peppers isnt the answer at safety and Logan Ryan isnt either. Hopefully he gets better with each game.

Now the elephant not named is Daniel Jones. I am indifferent moving forward with him. I think he will always be a guy who has some good games, some bad ones, and a lot of games with excuses. Not sure if that is good enough anymore.
My 5

1 John Mara
2 Dave Gettleman
3 Joe Judge
4 Jason Garrett
5 Patrick Graham

This season is over. The status’ of all need to be evaluated by #1
Good Thoughts there

Surprised not to see Saquan on the list, but I guess at this point we know what we have in him. I think it is important that management makes some sort of decision on him going forward though. The financial impact that could have on the team in the next 5-years could be vital.

This is 100% accurate. The games barely matter anymore, and they'll stop mattering entirely when they get to 1-8/2-7.
Well I guess I should have

Said in player development. These games do matter for the players even they won’t in the standings.
my five...
BillKo : 10/13/2021 1:04 pm : link
1. Judge
2. Jones
3. Thomas
4. Toney
5. Peart

All offense other than the coach.

The defense needs an impact player on the first and second levels, so there's no one of real interest to me.

Our offense has most of our talent IMO and where I want to see some progress.

if they resign saquon barkley they should be sent to the CFL. They must part ways with the oft injured, overhyped, overpaid lateral running champion
Good list

The #1 player for this season and this organization
GMen72 : 10/13/2021 3:37 pm : link
is Daniel Jones. If he can't establish himself as a franchise QB, worthy of a big 2nd contract, this franchise will have to start another full rebuild.

Thomas is playing well and played well late last year...he'll be fine.

1. Daniel Jones...play like a real franchise QB, get leads (don't just lead a few comebacks), throw multiple TDs...become Allen or Herbert or go be a backup somewhere. The Giants can't give DJ a $30+ million per year contract to do what he does now.

2. DG...fire him tomorrow. Trade offers are coming and you have to make sure those are evaluated in the best interest of the organization...not in the interest of an incompetent fool trying to save his own job.

3. Saquon Barkley...stay healthy and show you deserve a 2nd deal.

4. Peart...if he doesn't flash, gotta draft an OT in 1st round. Probably need to anyway?

5. Galloday...become a true #1, not play like an overpaid #3.

I agree
