because I don't like him at all as a passer, but he's very good at scoring points with this legs. Two more running TDs tonight. That's five for the season. That's 13 total TDs for the year...

Kind of hard for their RBs to score when they don’t run… hHa

So he is a good RB?
He's a good running QB and has a nose for the goal line.

Right, he is a good RB.
It would be great to root for a team like TB that can
but I see a quality backup. Someone you can bring in a pinch to win a couple games. But he misses throws, especially downfield. He's got an arm but he does have a big windup. His movement skills are terrific. Can he improve accuracy on mid/deep throws? I think that's going to be the difference in his career.
Hurts I think winds up a good back up and a team can use him as added weapon for certain situations. Been following him since Alabama. Lots of respect for how he handled things with Tua. Kid is winner who is a asset to a organization imv. Probably also one of the strongest pound for pound players in the league.
Must be nice to be Tampa and be a well-constructed football team. You watch them play offense and it's like watching a different sport.
It certainly must be nice, but its also a fairly unattainable result. Hope Tom Brady leaves NE, comes at a discount and brings other good players with him at a discount - effectively never happens.
Not really jealous of them, just one of those things that's a complete outlier, and dumb luck that the stars aligned on Brady's departure.

I'm not sure I wholly agree. Leaving Brady out of the equation, that team was largely in place before he got there.
I get that Brady is Brady and he elevates the whole offensive group, but without Brady it's still an enviable lineup you can get to the playoffs with if you swapped him out with a better than average QB.
I think their defense started to get fatigued, it was a Thursday game after all. 2 of the Eagles 3 TD's were basically set up because Hurts played so bad he underthrew both receivers down the field and the Bucs inexperienced DBs committed PIs instead of just turning around and picking it off. I would be really upset if my QB had that type of game. Plus, it does not seem that Sirriani and Hurts are on the same page. They run simply RPOs but Jalen never used the R part of the RPO.
So your take is Jalen Hurts is a QB we should covet?

My take is he's a good player, and a great value for a second round pick.

Maybe he likes some 50% passing, 115 yards, and as many passing TD’s as INT’s. What does AY/A say?

Lol if you think Hurts is better than Jones - you lose all credibility. He’s awful.

12/26 for 115 yds a TD and an INT...great value

115 pass yards. Great value there.
It goes against narratives along with stats that make him look bad.
Yeah, that's it....

No kidding. Watching them feels like you're watching a different sport. We are a million miles away from them.
DB play isn't good. Philly, well Hurts, would have won if they had a good QB.
No need to further read or respond to his games on Jones.
Caricature of himself is perfect description
Good player, great value.

But he ran it from the 1 yard line!!! Great value.

Do you mean Gronk?
I think the players just recognize the opportunity to play with greatness. Tom just has tremendous respect.
They made some great FA moves that worked out and over several years drafted a lot of very impactful players.
I think they will have to make a move for a corner though and of course stay healthy to have a chance to repeat.

and probably half the league struggles to do. Grimm and Brown aren’t in Tampa without Brady. Godwin is either on a big contract with Tampa or gone.
Do you mean Gronk?
Nope
The fourth and 2 play they called allowing the Eagles to get back in the game was brutal.....Brady's lowest percentage throw IMO are the fades.
Interesting stat: Hurts was in shotgun the entire game. Not one snap under center. He was getting killed by former Eagle Seth Joyner on the post game.
