I don’t think that was the reason. Some officials tended to mug for the camera with crazy long explanations on ticky tack calls. Not to mention I am sure NFL replay staff doesn’t like being called out on Twitter when they are demonstrably proven wrong. If fans/media aren’t given the basis how can they know what replay relied on! I personally think in ten words or less you can give reasoning for almost anything rather than using a generic term that could encompass many things.
And of course we can’t get any “giving him the business” calls, and NFL classic.
