look at his YAC compared to Waddle and DeVonta Smith. Last time I checked he averages well over 2x the YAC they do per catch which is absolutely insane.
Sample size is small for sure, but it can't be ignored either.
Also in that Giants.com article notes they are celebrating
there was any chance Toney would be as good, if not better, than Smith. I nearly cried when the Eagles traded in front of us. I still think Smith can be a great WR, but few players in the league can do what Toney does.

Smith needs a QB with some accuracy. Yeah, a lot of people were upset that the Giants didn't get Smith. I wanted him. But they may have gotten a WR as talented who can do a lot of things Smith can't, and gotten an extra 1st and 4th (and 5th last year) in the process.
I know it's only been a few games, but I can't remember another player with so much shake and bake. I also love that he seems to have a real feel for the game, knowing where the 1st down marker is. I don't like the drops he's had, but he's still getting used to the NFL. If he can stay healthy, he has a shot at being a super-star.

Hopefully the halftime score is something good or even close to keep things on the reservation from the fans at MetLife...
