I suspect a lot of us actually are living lives that Bill wishes he could be living – making meaningful connections and knowing we're leaving a legacy not of fame or uncertain influence through art, but of authentic impact on the many people we've lived with, and loved, through the decades. I'm not saying Murray's contributions haven't been real and valuable; I'm simply saying that he may not be able to KNOW for certain just how real his influence has been on us anonymous movie-goers and TV watchers out here in viewer-land.
