Getty will try to be a buyer at the deadline, probably telling Mara that they are right where they want to be at 1-4 and just need 1 or 2 more players to get over that hill
that Engram was being discussed with the Cardinals. Thus,my disappointment, since I doubt we resign him,so getting something for him at this juncture makes sense.
Im curious if he is allowed to suit up for AZ this weekend. I think according to the CBA, a player can only play in one game per week. Is that correct?

Correct he is not eligible to play again on Sunday.
Remember when the Cardinals had the first pick in the draft and are now a top tier team? And we’re a bottom 5 team…. I member
I remember that as soon as the Cardinals realized they screwed up by drafting Josh Rosen, they immediately acted to rectify the situation. They didn't waste multiple years making excuses for Rosen.
RE: Obviously Ertz, but I had read some posts from football sites

Sites that indicated the Giants were talking, or just the Cardinals?

I just looked at the Cards site and nobody complained that they didn't get Engram
They’ve had plenty of chances and haven’t wanted to.
Being honest here. Who would want to give up assets for Engram? Someone will sign him in the offseason but at this point he's invisible on the field no team is going to give up draft picks for that.

It's gonna take time to rebuild! Duh. Don't be stupid and know how football works! lol clueless morons!
It's gonna take time. Oh. It's gonna take time.
P.s. you are also spoiled because Buffalo cannot win a Super Bowl

No one. Know how I know?
No one has yet. Clearly, only the Giants are dumb enough to keep him.
When the sad time comes though and there's not a single dry eye on BBI and Engram is cut, and "quickly scooped up by another team" .... yeah I cannot do this.
He sucks and will be likely picked up and just won't make the final roster lol like Rueben Randle who couldn't even beat out the number 6 wide receiver on the Philadelphia Eagles whose name was probably Ryan Royston.

Both with each other! lol
Ha, I guess I wasn't clear enough, sorry.
I meant were the sites you were referencing talking about actual discussions between the NYG and ARZ about Engram? Or was it just ARZ spitballing that maybe Engram could be a target?
My God how low is it being a Giants fan these days? All I'm doing is sending haha messages to distraught Philly fans on Facebook about Zach ertz. This is literally the only thing I got going for me football-wise.
Send Engram to Philly for their 5th round choice! At least get something for him. The Eagles may be in tanking mode as well, and EE would be the perfect guy to help them get a high draft choice!
We need a younger GM that other teams will connect with and
conduct business.
There has to be a way out of this quicksand like situation but Dave should be a consultant not a GM
Carolina let him go for a reason
Baring that the Giants need to bring in an expert on college talent and do the 5 year build through the draft routine
Gettleman has done ok with the skill players but his record in the trenches is abysmal except for Saquon (a flawed talent- cant get the tough yards or block)
he has a cute name for the Hog Mollies but his execution is terrible on the D front 7 and the Oline. Where are Frakell and Tomlinson.....Dave is clueless He is holding us back.
He is also tone deaf to Tight Ends. I like Kaden Smith but Engram is a tweener with iffy hands and Kyle Rudolph seems to be on his last legs
CB Tay Gowan and a 2022 5th-round pick
They’ve had plenty of chances and haven’t wanted to.

^This.
Zach Ertz is a really fine TE!!!
Who would you rather have, Ertz or Engram?
