It is an inexact science. The line between hard hits and concussions is a little arbitrary. The Dx can be subjective. Concussions are something the NFL can point to so that they can say they are doing something. There is a ton of damage from regular hits.
Jones just isn't right today. Having BBIers speculate it may have something to do with getting knocked out a week ago isn't outrageous.
That was a bad one too last week. I think the Giants were wrong to play him. That type of concussion knocked out QBs in the old days for weeks when they didn't have much of a protocol
very bad today. And it’s not just about not having time. He’s throwing the ball straight to defenders. Not sure what that’s about. I thought we were past that.
based on the rest of this season, I sincerely doubt he's recovered from the concussion last week.
He had one INT going into today, and it was a hail mary.
He's not right, and I can't believe they are sending him out there in this situation.
Not to many teams can pickup that and cover it. That was light years beyond Giants coaching staff comprehension lol.. I really wish the Giants actually had offensive coach like Rams..
“What I’m about is an old school physical mentality. We’re going to put a product on the field that the people of this city and region are going to be proud of because this team will represent this area. We will play fast, we will play downhill, we will play aggressive. We will punch you in the nose for 60 minutes, we will play every play like it has a history and a life of its own, with a relentless, competitive attitude. We will play fundamentally sound, we will not beat ourselves. That is our mission right here… It’s a tough division, it’s a tough division and the city is full of tough people and they expect to see a program, they expect to see a product, that represents them. I’m going to do everything in my power, every day, to make sure the people of this city and this area turn on the TV or sit in the stadium seats and are proud to say that we’re their New York Giants.” ― Joe Judge (January 2020)
This is like leaving in a pitcher to get his brains beat in. Not sure what message Judge is trying to send by putting a guy in who is struggling this badly.
when his Oline doesn't block and his receivers can't catch.
But otherwise he is awesome? Great analysis. The guy never wins, and rarely ever plays well, but because everyone else sucks you just keep waiting for everyone else to get better.
Assuming a QB is good despite any objective evidence is weird, but you do you.
I don’t give two craps about Daniel Jones. I care about the Giants and right now he is absolutely part of the problem with this team.
Xavier McKinney interceptions are like solo HRs down 9 runs
when his Oline doesn't block and his receivers can't catch.

you sound like a moron putting words on my mouth. you are actually arguing with yourself.

Thanks for that.
+2. But it's difficult to believe that staring down receivers is because of a concussion. I simply don't think he should have played. His concussion last week was too severe.
RE: I can agree with the point that Jones looks like shit
when his Oline doesn't block and his receivers can't catch.
The line isn't blocking. The receivers are falling down and dropping balls. Jones is having a bad day. All these things can be true at the same time, independent of the others.

Agree, please score over 50 and make it crystal clear how bad we are

Doesn’t mean he was ready to play. Good job by Judge being tough enough to hold him out oh wait!
Idiotic!
He was cleared to play by an independent neurologist.
Maybe the "independent neurologist" had a concussion when he tested Jones...
Oh snap!

Fucking Garrett again. Why did he call for the short spikes? Terrible play design!

Keep pouring it on. No mercy keep scoring.

Do you think it isn’t crystal clear already?
No that doesn't excuse poor throws , But he has absolutely nothing to work with
Agreed. This isn't just pointless. It's madness.
Their lucky that last Aaron Donald sack wasn't worse .. or a fumble..
But they don't have issues of talent the Giants have right now.
Lamar Jackson is - maybe quietly - having an MVP caliber season over there carrying that offense.
Giants do not have NFL quality depth. It’s shocking and angering.

Inexplicable.

He has stared down receivers all day.
Every NFL QB fumbles when he is hit. I just read it here on BBI. You must have seen something wrong.
