I understand people are pissed and want everyone fired, but it’s 1 Game and 1 Loss. It’s the same result as losing by 3 to the Falcons. Let’s just hope we can get our guys back and we can start playing positive football going forward.
Doesn't this team have the worst aggregate record in the NFL for the past three years or is it longer? Of all the ways to look at this, the 100% absolute last way to look at this is as "one game, one loss" because it has been consistent, long-term LOSING!
Firing everyone isn’t going to solve anything. Building positive momentum will.
How many games played until we are allowed to say they've had enough time to build positive momentum. If the coaches and management aren't capable of it, find ones that are.
This is the level-headed response this board needs!
I get what you're saying and I think everyone expected to be beat by 2 scores or more. I think it's just that the team looked so inept after the first series and then throw in that we already had a string of losses. In 2018 we could at least enjoy Barkley. Last year we could at least enjoy the defense. This year has nothing positive. Maybe Toney

We had positive momentum against a good Saints team. Then everyone got hurt. Why can’t we do it again?

How does keeping the same regime in place build positive momentum?
When did I mention, keeping the current regime? It’s obvious Gettleman is gone after this season. Will Judge be gone? That’s what remains to be seen.
Didn’t you just say “Firing everyone doesn’t solve anything “? Maybe take the time to explain what you mean. How are we supposed to take that statement?
That's what winning teams get to say after a bad game. When you are 1-5 coming off of 6-11 and nearly an entire decade of losing seasons, it is so far from 1 game and 1 loss it isn't even funny. With our record, that is a lower mentality.

there's no proof that they can turn into a consistent team. They have never done it. The saints game wasn't it either. They were down until the 4th quarter then rallied for a win late.
This team nearly never plays a full 4 quarters good football game under this coach. The coach doesn't have the players and doesn't put the players they DO have in good positions to succeed.

Fire Gettleman
Fire Chris Mara
Fire Joe Judge
Fire Patrick Graham
Fire Jason Garrett
That’s all you see after every loss, or in every losing game thread.

Maybe the Saints game was the outlier, not the 5 losses.

How many games have the Giants had Barkley, Golloday, Toney, Slayton, and Thomas completely healthy?

I gotta be honest, outside of AT and KT, the other guys may not be as good as you think.

The entire league is built on teams finding ways to play through injuries. Baltimore lost two starting RBs and they're a run first team. They rushed for 187 today.
The Giants won a super bowl playing backups in the secondary. Injuries happen. Falling to total pieces when you don't have your starting lineups in perfect health is a symptom of a poorly built roster and subpar coaching.
When the Giants win a game, everyone is overly positive. When they lose a game, then people are overly dramatic and everyone needs to get fired. The team needs to get blown up.
All I’m saying it’s that even though we got blown out, it’s still counts as 1 lost. We still have 11 games to play, and hopefully we get some of our better players back soon in Thomas, Toney, Barkley, and Golloday. We won’t have many Sundays like today.

It's not fair to expect everyone to have the memory of a goldfish from week to week. This isn't just one loss. It's consistent losing built up over a near decade. People have a right to be upset.

Well you're correct about the first part - literally every time the Giants win a game a lot of people think it's the start of something big.
Unfortunately the reality is that it's not and there's ample evidence that losses are to be expected and wins are extremely rare.
For someone to post the nyg record since 2012. Because we need to see this fucking crap every day around here.
Frankly, is there much else to say? They've been lovers for a decade, and so long as they keep making the same decisions and keeping the same buffoon running the franchise, it will continue.
It's 40 losses since 2017, or some impossible number close to that.

So how many losses does it warrant such an action? Or maybe the better more positive question is what actions constitute positive momentum?

So Thomas is a blown pick now??? LOL

All starts up front - they did ok with DL but OL - oh my. Blew 2 1st round and 1 2nd round pick on OL - hard to overcome bad decisions like that

Thomas is not a blown pick, and should be built around. He is like the one bright spot on this squad.
1 loss? It’s another season over far before Halloween.
Nobody can be this positive.
Yeah, but 1 at a time, as the man says
Doomed.
it's a great question. They fall in love with the players and can't see beyond it.
It’s perplexing. The excusing of repeated shoddy play by some players and losing is really out there.
Hahahhaha
