Simply can't have the son of the owner as VP of player personnel. Forget about the role he does or doesn't have at the very best it looks bad and appearances matter! What good GM candidate wants to come here when they think the owner's kid has a say in the personnel? Answer...none. You want to make a move that shows the fans something...make that move!!!!
Steve Tisch hasn't showered himself with glory during his time as Giants co-owner but I will give him credit for this: He doesn't talk much and he doesn't seem to interfere with the football operation. Yes, he brings a date to the stadium and sits in the owners box drinking champagne. I'd rather have that than what we are getting with the Mara family.
Uh, Director of Player personnel, sure he does something
Bring in a football mind to run the football side of business, and let him decide if Chris should have a nameplate, or a role.
That's a pipe dream, though.

Newsflash, both are bad.
Newsflash, both are bad.
If I’m not mistaken he took over as VP of player personnel the season after 46. Meaning we went from the super bowl to the worst team In the league right at his inception.
And let’s not forget we drafted David Wilson with that first pick at the end of the first round. A total head scratcher. I know Chris isn’t the GM, but you have to wonder how much say he had in that.
