Kadarius Toney

Other than the injuries literally the only player I'm excited about. I'm excited about Thomas but he's 1/5 of the O-line (although LT is the most important position). He was dominating again before he was injured. I think if he stays healthy he honestly has all time great potential, there I said it. I've never seen anyone like him before.
I looked at his stats and maybe I should tone down him "dominating"

but the guy just makes so many extra yards out of nothing.

He is exciting. He might be the only source of joy this season

We literally had a wide receiver here a few years ago that people were making the same claims about.

And we know how that ended.

You'd think Giants fans would be smart enough to wait on this one.

That's why I said if he stays healthy. Beckham's problem was staying healthy, not proposing to the kicking net. I guess with such a classy and successful franchise we can't have people proposing to the kicking net. /Sarcasm

The guy who was ran out of town because the media and grumpy old Giants fans overreacted to every little thing?

Not like he was a rising star here. He hasn't done shit since leaving. Peppers stinks and it was still the right move trading OBJ. And I loved him when he was here
We know how this one will turn out,

Toney will be like Shep, constantly in and out of the lineup.

So don’t get excited about an exciting player because they our shitty GM traded Odell? What’s your point?

Exactly. The grumpy old Giants fans, or whatever they are, were already calling Toney a bust and questioning his character before the season started. Them and the Ny Media will be working on driving Toney out before long. That’s going to be the main similarity with Obj.

That's because the Giants decided to cover him in a cloak of secrecy. No information being made available leads people into all kinds of speculation.
Questioning his character is a you problem
UConn4523 : 10/17/2021 6:17 pm : link
most reasonable people did not. Blaming the Giants for keeping information in house is ridiculous.
The team is cursed
VinegarPeppers : 10/17/2021 6:26 pm : link
ALL our quality players are continuously injured, always. The only question is which of the new players next season will miss half or all the games to injury while eventually the fan base doesn’t even consider their absence while saying the team sucks.

All teams do NOT loose only their best players. Don’t see Solder going down.

For Toney next have a shot at a great he needs to get away from NY. Otherwise his career will just follow a long line of WRs careers destroyed by the curse of the NYG WR. Smith, Nicks, Manningham, Cruz, OBJ now Barkley...greatness will always be destroyed by NYG luck.

When Toney returns from the high ankle, the clock starts on the ACL. You know it as well as I. It’s just the way it is.

Can we wait until he stays healthy for a few games in a row before anointing him the next coming of Beckham? Who has been hurt or playing with significant injuries more than half his career.

My issue with Toney is he skipped voluntary OTA's and then has trouble staying healthy so far. I still think he and artificial turf won't get along too well.
