We let him go and he's produced pretty well since then
Golden wasn't a fit here. He's a one dimensional pass rusher, they like guys who are "multiple". From what I can tell multiple means "do several things poorly".

Yes but we had Ximines and Carter.
We didn’t even have them when we traded Golden; both were out for the season by then (well Carter was; Ximines wasn’t put on injured reserve until late in the season).

yes and there still isn’t a GM in football not named Gettlemen who would trade him even up for Danny Dimes.
How about now, after the fumble on the goal line? I mean that s what we do here. View every play in a vacuum to support our narrative, my turn now.
Daks actually been good in his career. Don’t be obtuse there’s a difference.
Just having some fun my friend, making my point in an obtuse sort of way,
I ll try to be better; Maybe you haven’t noticed, there s quite a bit of that around here.
Responding to posts that lack context or objectivity by doing by more of the same seemed appropriate in the moment.
People were starting threads saying they’re envious of the Panthers. The Browns are talked about here as if they have things figured out. Hard to win in the NFL.
Throughout the playoffs. Lovely. Just fucking make this nightmare decade even worse and watch then get to the super bowl. You think Philly 2017 was bad? Think again.
He's been in the right place at the right time an awful lot. Like, a historic rate. I wish it were as simple as "Guy with Star is just lucky", but alas...
Full disclosure I picked Dallas in a 7 game parlay that I’ve won 6 of 7 of so far today so I’m relying on Dallas to win a lot of money for me right here. It’s a very dirty feeling.
I was watching a Titans game a couple weeks ago can’t even remember who they were playing but the other team had like an 8:30 first drive and kicked a FG, so the Titans had to rush to try to get into FG position just to finish with a tie (they missed the FG in the end). Just make it 15 min to make sure both teams get a full possession (unless a TD is scored of course).

will win a Super Bowl with this group, but they are miles ahead of the Giants in terms of quality of the organization.
They might as well be playing a different sport. If you watch the Giants and then watch other teams each week it's scary to see the gap between the giants and the better teams in the NFL actually getting wider rather than narrowing.
Despite having top 10 picks every year, the Giants can't narrow that gap whatsoever

That will continue to happen as long as they hire GM's like DG!!
with the NFL rules, the refs made up rules as they went along. The unsportsmanlike conduct foul should have been enforced as a dead ball penalty, and instead they treated it as if it happened during the play. If it happened during the play, why was the flag thrown when the holding was being announced?
On the college parlay i picked the over on 80 points and won..
That was a wild one. Last week it was the Packers coming through, this weekend Dallas. Some small betting has become a nice distraction to the shitshow that is the Giants. Up a grand for the season.

Wondered same thing
It was treated as deal ball. 15 yards and loss of down.
Nice. I’m coming out a few hundred bucks ahead today so that’s good but listen to this: separately I had a -6 teaser (-6 not +6) going on an 7 leg parlay and the only one I missed on was the panthers game. Literally if the Panthers had won today by more than 3 points I would’ve won $40,000 on a $50 bet 😂. Can only laugh to save from crying. Instead I won nothing on that. I see now why gambling becomes addictive.
I know no one wants to hear the story about the big fish you *almost* caught today lol but I needed to vent about that.

With 2 coaches and a player out with C-‘19.
Sometimes it comes together unexpectedly: Az.
Sometimes it falls apart unexpectedly: NYFG.
BTW: The Browns with tons of talent, appear to still be the Browns.
Panthers aren’t the Rams. Darnold isn’t Stafford.

yes
And with all that talent around him and and one of the best ols in football he bird-dogs his guy …… which, as we Giants fans know, means he sucks
Where’s the the shot of Jerry picking his nose???

With the best OL in football he has one playoff win. He actually hasn’t been all that good.
Mac doesn’t have the mobility Daniel has. He be sacked twice as much with the Giants line.

Let’s get him a decent OL and find out
Yeah, but isn't it a law that on every Cowboys national broadcast, a former Cowboy must be the color commentator?
Not a put down of Dak, Iliked him long before it was popular
Romo that is
He just always seems to be in the right spot.
They are too stupid and unaware to know they are doing it
Too much time left
Might've just been an odd camera angle.
Saw so many Dallas jerseys in Maine today and it made me sick to my stomach and want to root for NE even more.
Good God please pull this off.
Must be nice having a healthy team and a good coach and a rookie QB who just wants to play ball.
Mac Jones practices plays on his front lawn with his girlfriend. That is likeable.
He's been in the right place at the right time an awful lot. Like, a historic rate. I wish it were as simple as "Guy with Star is just lucky", but alas...

I think Diggs just made the aggressive move knowing he had the Safety. The Safety really screwed up on missing both the ball and the player.
Too bad for the Cowboys. Lets see if they can take it to OT....

or did that one replay look like Diggs looked at the safety rather than busting his ass chasing the receiver?

I meant after the receive got past Diggs. It looked like he glanced to his left after the safety went by.
Again, probably just an odd camera angle.
Not every one.
Yup.
It's like he wandered onto the set of a movie about the NFL.
No rush, clean pocket, plenty of time for received to run unimpeded til he gets open
Is that a product of Belichick spotting talent at discount prices?
BB can make a 1996 Geo Metro look like a Cadillac.

Got it.
Sure enough, Dak makes enough plays to tie it up. This is why he gets that contract.
win or lose, he got them to a position to still win it...

Except at wide receiver. *grin*
Anything seems possible in this game.
You crazy fucker haha
He just can't let the game breath.
That virus is everywhere
I think my pt was they gave him good protection. Don t be so sensitive, I told you, I liked dak long before it was popular to like him.

Completely agree.
But are there any announcers in any sport who let a game breathe? A lost art.
And yes, I'm old.
What a 'genius'.

+ millions.
It’s Stan… what do expect?
It is tough enough to listen to Aikman and Buck wax poetic about the Cowboys but now Romo is a shill for Dallas as well
Times have changed when you can have such bias on nation broadcast
It was unlistenable
Look it up. Without Brady, Belichick has an average of 7-9 over 6+ years. Large sample size.
Educate yourself.
