2020 NFL draft for the Giants?
The Giants picked Xavier McKinney S, Alabama at 36 overall.
The Cowboys picked CB Trevon Diggs CB, Alabama at 51 overall.
Who would you rather have on the Giants?
For me this brings into question the judgment of the Giant talent evaluators from Joe Judge, DG, up to Chris Mara.
And while we are at it....does this mean that we are ready to throw the selection of McKinney on the trash heap already is what is basically his rookie season????????? That would be pretty idiotic....
Also let's see him do it for more than 5 games before we make him the next deion Sanders

DG also said they had a "solid first round grade" on Hernandez.

Well he had 3 ints in the 2020 season, so it appears he has a “knack” for it.
Theres a reason QBs throw it his way
McKinney was viewed as a great draft pick
Who knows what has happened to him.....same as all the others.

It’s not unfair when the Giants are picking the wrong players every year for a decade straight.
Next series after INT gets absolutely burned for a TD. CJ board had him burned for a td and glennon was a half hour late to throw the ball. Let’s relax a little with Diggs.
You all remember Stevie Brown???
I was high on Winfield and shocked we passed on him for McKinney

Excellent analysis.
This is a common refrain, and it does have validity.
But wouldn't it be nice if the paid professionals in the Giants' front office had 20/20 foresight a bit more frequently so that we weren't always second-guessing their choices?
Given the collective failure we are seeing here, it's hard to evaluate individual players and their specific contributions.
My guess is McKinney would be playing a lot better or would be perceived that way if he was on a better team.

that's what is so maddening. we can't evaluate any of our players because they all play on a bad team.
