I still don't get why they rushed Jones back into the lineup. He's a running QB. Can't risk his head and can't handicap his strengths. This staff doesn't play to its strengths nearly enough.

Because he says he had the wind knocked out of him, and that he didn’t have a concussion. The independent neurologists tested him and said he had no symptoms of a concussion and cleared him to play. So they did not rush a guy with a head injury back in.
Garett still being here is so Giants in so many ways
All of his interviews talk about tough, fundamentally sound football, like he's a coach out of the 90s.
He has no idea how to coach a modern offense.
Despite the offense being a total dumpster fire, Daniel Jones has shown some glimpses of improvement. That is enough for Mara to cling onto that he doesn't want to fire Garrett.
It's not the "Giants Way" to fire him mid-season, even though firing him would help evaluate if the next OC is in-house (Kitchens) or not.
singling him out would feel very much like a cop out but I do think they need to do something.
with this much going wrong it's hard to not think that Judge has made some very big miscalculations this year (including roster decisions). have to hope he learns from them.
RE: garrett sucks but the whole staff has sucked this year
Tony Romo and Dak Prescott, an UDFA and a 4th round pick and they turned into pretty good qb's so surely he would turn Daniel Jones, the #6 pick in the entire draft, into at least a top 10 qb. Now he is getting the blame because a middling college qb is a middling pro qb. He should- he was dumb enough to take the job.

Are you saying we had players on this roster at one point that would have performed better but we let them go?
while we watch:
Lorenzo Copperfield (3 pressures 0 sacks 75% of snaps)
and
Oshane Blaine (2 pressures 0 sacks 50% snaps)
for about the cost of an Ifeadi Odenigbo they could have:
Markus Golden (4 sacks, 7 pressures) playing 75% of the game for 6-0 first place ARI's #2 ranked defense.
and
Kyler Fackrell (2 sacks, 4 pressures) playing about 50% of the game for for 4-2 first place LAC.
Lorenzo Copperfield actually has the highest cap # of any player listed above this year. The good news is that Patrick Graham is very proud of him.

Come on, he did not say he had the wind knocked out of him, he said it FELT like he had the wind knocked out of him. He was in concussion protocol all week, they dont do that for getting the wind knocked out.

That's the thing, Jones playing like a below-average to average QB shouldn't be a surprise, this is who he was at Duke! But even then, the Jones cultists were blaming his receivers and OLine, even saying he didn't throw the ball so hard so his WR's could catch them! I get wanting your young QB to succeed, but the lengths some will go to excuse his poor play is bizarre.

Ya once again it was Garrett’s fault. Are you f’n kidding me. Jesus Christ couldn’t help yesterday. We got our ass handed to us period. Yet you have to blame Garrett. LOL
Anyone notice how much the Boys offense has improved this year with a new coordinator
Now that he's gone
Coincidence
I don't think so
What's so funny that he laughing on sideline after down so much before halftime

Agreed but additionally -We keep a QB who was rushed back from a concussion to play in garbage time cause “we play for 60 minutes!” with that logic they should say we -pay your contract for an entire season so injured or not get your ass in there. Tape the broken arm, wrap that blown out ankle, strap that hamstring…. Get out there.

Totally disagree with blaming Garrett- We lose Toney, Gollway, Slayton and left with Shepard and tier 3&4 WR and you want him to make gold from a pile of straw.! Kitchens couldn’t have done better. Of the 7 WR on the roster we had Shepard and the last two playing. And the OL had Fill ins except for Hernandez. That group couldn’t do line management at Chuckie Cheese!
When the pieces are there (as we saw against N.O) Garrett’s a genius and all is well in Mudville!
haha, well done

Makes you wonder who had the head injury.
He is still here for the same reason Engram and Jones are. We have no idea what they are because the team is so injured.
Guess we will try again in 2022!

I actually think they did not run Jones enough. If the guy cannot run the ball, then he should sit.
