I saw it Thursday night.....I liked a lot of it, especially the really well made flashback to 1978 scenes, but man oh man was there a lot cringe....especially Tommy Doyle and all the hospital scenes.
Michael is fucking brutal in this movie though. the scenes with the old couple and the drone was insane brutality
Thoughts?
And then the whole scene of the mob chasing that other mental patient....he looked Danny DeVito as the penguin. How the hell did they mistake him for Myers.... and my god Anthony Michael Hall's acting as Tommy was bad.
but here are my issues:
1) I mean when will the cops call in the FBI or National Guard? lol
2) The marketing department really botched this as the title for the next one just made this one seem as a filler. All the "evil dies tonight" just had me at... no it isn't. next movie yes but not this one haha.
3) The fuck is up the mob in the hospital?
4) jesus christ, all those people surrounding Michael and they couldn't kill him. i have seen better jump videos than this.
5) The police didnt surround the home?? how the fuck did Michael get back in the house?? i mean what the fuck.
6) lastly, again, they wanted to make this realistic. When will they explain how a normal man is indestructible? The guy got burned, shot, and etc. I mean no one is asking why?
I guess Halloween Ends will be the main event but I thoroughly expect Jaime will die in that one. The fact her daughter died, she will def die to save her granddaughter.
The cringe worthy things to me were This is for Dr Loomis and the black nurses death. that was so eye rolling stupid
One thing I kept thinking was when they were all standing around Michael in a circle beating him, and he was just lying on the ground, why don't they cut his head off? You just knew he was getting back up again
I did like when Hawkins told Laurie, "it isn't about you".....we all knew Michael had no interest in Laurie.....finally someone said it. He just wanted to go home.
But I really don't like how they say Michael is NOT super-natural and is just human. Or, some say he is mostly human, but has some super-natural in him.
Like, you can't have it both ways. He either is, or he isn't.
Which leads me to this movie. There is no fucking way on Earth he, or anyone, survives that beatdown in the street at the end. Not only does he survive it, but he rises up and kills all of them.
Then, if that's not ridiculous enough for you. He somehow then walks back to his house without anyone trying to stop him, and murders Laurie's daughter on the second floor?
Ridiculous and completely illogical.

i mean he did. He was getting beat a block away and manage to get back in a house that was full of people outside of it and noooooooo one noticed. no one.
and did anyone else laugh with "Big John... Little John". LMAOO

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!
if she isnt dead, it makes Halloween Kills a fucking waste of a time (for the most part it was anyways). I mean now i understand the reviews from the critics on how this movie was a waste of Jaimes time.
She did say Ends is going to piss off a lot of people.
Why should would announce that, I have no idea.

I loved how in one of the F13 movies, they called in the National Guard/Army for Jason and blow the shit out of him.

the thing about this new trilogy was to be more realistic and a different take to the original.

#9 - Jason goes the Hell - The Final Friday.

i think that comment is based on the writers saying Ends will deal with current politics and the pandemic and will obviously have a time jump

Jamie will be laying in Smith's Grove having gone insane and everything that happened after that night in 1978 was all a dream.

Christ I hope not. It's a horror movie. I don't want to preached to.

Ok if that were the case, and who knows it might be, what about Michael? He would have to be at Smith’s Grove too if Frank and the Haddonfield PD apprehended him as shown in Kills, no?
Nice
Why dont people move out of the town?
When they stabbed him, I knew he would take the knife out and slash them all. Get the National Guard out on him and blow him up.

Someone will just eat the heart and bamm.... he is back! (Jason)
