Is absolutely terrible. Theres a short list of people i’d love to tombstone piledrive through a table, and he’s on it.
Yeah, I gotta admit (sticking with wrestling for the moment), Greeny is one of the people I wish a Real Life (circa 1998-early 2000's) Kane would show up, chokeslam, piledrive and drop in casket and set it on fire... He is a swarming, sniveling, pencil neck geek..
Judge thinks he's fooling the media, the fans and apparently ownership with this big tough Saban or Bill Belichick shtick. But the issue is his on the field record sucks...no wonder everyone is turning on him.

The only people who can fix the Giants are the guys in the room. What does that mean? They need to coach better? The players need to play better?m That's meaningless.
He seems to always have a kitschy phrase at the ready. Unfortunately he doesn't have any real answers.
people care too much about what a coach says in front of the media, especially with constant losing. He can't speak what he's really feeling because coaches and players are given a list of responses from the team's PR department. It's politics and nothing else.
so what Greenberg says isn't wrong or unreasonable. But the fact that he has a show and is paid millions to talk sports is miserable. No matter the topic, he's awufl.

Completely agree, having never played sports at a level to garner national media attention (and I’m confident to say nearly everyone if not everyone here is in that same boat), we can’t say strong interviews with the media leads to winning.
We all have day jobs that have nothing to do with football, our opinions of what a professional football coach sounds like when talking football, is irrelevant for all intents and purposes.
Results are the only thing that means anything.
not clicking that link and the whole Judge is a fake tough guy trying to be Belichick and Saban is lazy and weak.
Judge is awful at managing the clock. Judges' game management is way way too conservative even if it's coming from a place of trying to protect against a bad roster and play "close to the vest". Judge has too many special teams only players on his roster. But his his biggest weakness, which I believe will get him fired, is that he outsourced his offensive and defensive schemes to over matched incompetent coordinators and has not been willing to or able to bring them up to state of the art competitive levels.
Greenberg like 99% of the talking heads on ESPN has no idea what he's talking about and doesn't do the hard homework to do anything more but repeat a lazy soundbite.
Need to game plan with aggression.
Meaning let it all hang out if you are going to lose by 30 every week.
Go balls to the wall.
Send 7 rushers constantly, trick plays and mix it up with formations.
Fuck it go done in a blaze.
The thing about it is we know what he is saying, but just yelling somebody needs to step up is just something to say. If you have a team whose players are not as good as the competition you have to devise a plan to combat the talent difference.
Expecting some unidentified player to "step up" is just saying the same things over again. "We need to play better. We need to clean things up. We need to avoid negative plays. Blah, blah, blah."
analogy was clear - they have to solve the problem with the players available.
they knew what he meant - but playing dumb and stupid ass giggling is more entertaining
Yup, making a big to do over nothing is Greenys MO. Not sure why it’s this hard to separate criticism (which is warranted) from delivery (what he’s paid to do), but hey, that’s BBI for you.
I don't give a shit about styles, and I like Judge....
The General Game Management has been terrible, when it's been important. The personnel evaluation is questionable as it dictates Roster Construction and Use.... that would seem to spill over to guidance on NEEDS that He and His Staff would express regarding Draft and Free Agency and Player Retention. He's been proactively thin skinned on all questions of his approach and decisions....yeah, the media are jock envy pricks, but the questions are valid!
I've "liked Judge".... but these are big dings. He needs to answer this with Performance or He needs to be Gone.
But his his biggest weakness, which I believe will get him fired, is that he outsourced his offensive and defensive schemes to over matched incompetent coordinators and has not been willing to or able to bring them up to state of the art competitive levels
The irony here is this is a big reason I think he was hired. McAdoo & Shurmur were consumed with playcalling.

Amen brother!

I love this. And agree. I also think, without a shred of proof, that's he's a snake.

Still, he's not wrong. I'm getting tired of Judge's coachspeak while the losses pile up.
"We need to clean things up. We need to play better." No shit, Sherlock.

Serious question, I haven't heard it.
Expecting some unidentified player to "step up" is just saying the same things over again. "We need to play better. We need to clean things up. We need to avoid negative plays. Blah, blah, blah."
The answer is no.
Yet, media still have to ask questions and Judge still has to answer. Whatever, I say (on this front).
In the end, injuries are just torpedoing any chance we have to be competitive.
Some of you ripping him for his appearance or affect should look in the mirror.

Lol, there's goats in Afghanistan that know more about football than the people here....
(Ducking.)
