virtually every series they ever created...Sapranos, The Wire, Deadwood......

there are some classic HBO shows that didn't make the cut for various reasons (most of them having to do with lawyers):

1. Tales from the Crypt
2. 1st and 10
3. Fraggle Rock
4. Da Ali G Show

There are some more, but those are the big ones.

But Clint was very "Robert DeNiro in The Irishman" at a couple of points.

A younger actor might have been a better idea.

I love Clint, but he's just too damn old now to do anything convincing in a movie.

The movie was awful. You didn’t miss a thing.

There's sooo much content on there. Not just current and former HBO shows, but sooo many movies, too. Price is cheap, too. In terms of all of the streaming networks that exist these days, it's definitely my favorite by far.

And I've liked a lot of Eastwood's later stuff. Meandering and boring. The teenage actor was really bad too. I'll echo the sentiment that Eastwood miscast himself in the role, it probably should have gone to somebody 25-30 years younger. He was so miscast that some of the scenes were unintentionally funny which, when you're going for sentiment, isn't the greatest.

HBO Max is well worth the money though. By far the best streaming service.
