such a shit stain of a documentary. I can't remember ever watching something where I hated everything about it. No interest in season 2. IF the Nic Cage project wasn't cancelled I'd watch that but that's about it. Too much other good stuff out there.

really? thats some hard commentary. Also I wouldn't view it through the lens of a 'documentary' - just an interesting story. Yes I was entertained but nobody is going to mistake it for a classic
I thought it was a poorly constructed documentary that picked 1 guy to make a villain when in reality everyone involved was a piece of shit that should be in prison. Glorifying animal abusers gets pretty old pretty fast. I hate-watched it with my wife and enjoyed nothing about it once the luster of the first episode worse off.

This seems like it would have been a good thread for you to skip in that case lol :)
I agree - nearly everyone on the show was despicable in their own way, but i enjoyed the story. Hard to imagine season 2 is anything other than a cash grab though.

I’m open to hearing why other people liked it. And what Hoya said is very true, the timing made it a smash hit when it didn’t serve to be one.

Having said that, I did enjoy it for what it was. It gave me a lot of laughs and memes when I needed some laughs and memes.
For that reason alone, I'll almost certainly watch the second season, even if my expectations for it aren't high.
