NGT (or maybe not) Colts lose Safety Julian Blackmon

to a torn Achilles. BUT, in the article it talks about the Clots redoing TY Hilton's contract to free up some money which might be in part to acquire someone from outside the organization.

Peppers to the Colts would not be a bad move for either.

What would

Realistic compensation for Peppers be? With how little money we have to spend this offseason, we will probably get a comp pick or two depending on if we don’t resign Peppers/Engram/Price/Hernandez
What would be a fair return for Peppers at this point?

I'm guessing the Colts would offer a 6th or 7th. Seems low to me.

Also guessing the Giants would ask for a 4th. That is probably more than they'll get for 2022. Maybe a 2022 5th or a 2023 4th?

actually would be a decent fit for the scheme and talent mix they like at LB/S.

I'd prefer a 5th.
Frankly......everyone should be on the trading block

As long as we don't get fleeced or trade for equally injured or stinky players!
Peppers trajectory here mirrors Judge's.

He was outstanding last year at SS. They were going Ryan FS & Peppers at SS and they had one of the better D's in the league. Peppers was in great position all year and was very good tackler/run defender. A nice piece to a physical D. And he became an Ambassador to the brand - was it Golladay he took out to dinner?

Fast forward a few months, he gets benched for Xavier McKinney (hasn't made a worthwhile play all year) and Ryan takes the SS job. (The all bark, no bite Logan Ryan.) And Peppers is the forgotten man.

Why bench a guy in his prime who had a solid year? It should've been McKinney vs. Ryan at FS. No decision this team makes works.

Graham also misused Fitzpatrick so bad in Miami that he forced a trade.

I would have done that; had Peppers at SS and have Ryan and McKinney duke it out for FS. Or had all three on the field in a nickel package. Plus, Peppers is a captain, why's he wasting his time?
