as someone mentioned in another thread he's a guy who has been kept around for too long. EE is another as are Ximines and Carter. Given too many opportunities to take advantage of only to either fail or worse not even try. Its only a one off and I'm not calling him the be all end all but how do they let a Ryan Connelly go, who was semi productive and keep a Dovantae Downs for 90 years?! just such poor player eval and self eval.....its gotta change or we are stuck.
so what do the giants do? go out and sign injury-prone WRs kenny golladay and john ross, and an injured kyle rudolph who, surprise surprise, are all currently injured.
at some point you make your own luck and this falls squarely on gettleman and the front office. just asinine roster building.
RE: engram and shepard have been injury-prone their whole careers.

RE: RE: RE: There goes that 2nd round pick we were going to get
All five of our top WRs are now on the injury report, and two of the team's three tight ends.
And we all know about the OL.
Wow.
Maybe we need to switch out the field turf and go to natural grass. Didn't the 49ers call out or field turf as unsafe? At this point, I am ready for a grass field.

They already announced they are switching to grass. I'm not sure when it is going in though.
He's a keeper and cheap. He will be scooped up immediately by another team anyway so. He could break out of his shell at any moment. Only an idiot would dispose of Evan engram so quickly?
It is just comical at this point.
Sterling has a hammy now.

TE Evan Engram (calf) did not practice Thursday.
Also WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and CB Sam Beal (hamstring) were new additions to the injury report. They were limited.
It is just comical at this point.
He was sitting for so long that when he stood up he pulled his hamstring.

injured without ever playing.

"Limited Participant - Hemorrhoids"

Wow.
Sure I remember the 1956 championship game, but still…….
Amen brother.

Starting the Carolina defense on my fantasy team...
with bad teams,
If you asked me Monday I would have said I really thought the NYG would win Sunday vs the Panthers. Now? Probably another L…

Same here, I was ready to predict a win when the prediction thread was posted, but I don't know who we could beat at this point.
who the fuck is giving up a second rounder for a guy who cannot play tight end?
We have been questioning the training staff for a while.
Yup. I can't believe we have to watch 11 more games of this shit.

Eric said it best last week...
"There are better things to do on Sunday" now.

for trading Engram...

But he's a pro bowler!

I believe this was snark.
He's obviously being sarcastic.

Did I really need to put first rounder in here for this to work?
this place needs an enema...
TC also implied injuries were simply a mindset. He then proceeded to have some of the worst injury-plagued years I can remember as a Giants' fan.

But he's the future Jason Witten.
We built this city. We built this city on dud 1st rounders.
God willing, he's not wearing our uni next fall.

I suggested that yesterday and got trashed for it. But you know it's happening or going to happen.

But why not just give him ...one... More year?

Remember they lost to the fucking Falcons without Michael Vick? AT HOME!
