Been a fan ever since I saw Dale Murphy hit a home run in spring training when I was 5. Got his autograph after the game in the parking lot.
This team isn’t as talented as most of the 90s teams but damn are they tough and sound. Great defense and the relief pitching has risen to the challenge in a big way. Timely hitting.
So happy for Freddie.
Still can’t believe AA was able to rebuild the outfield in July.

Freeman’s one of the easy guys to root for, for sure
I am feeling great today as I have been saying for weeks that I didn't want to play LA again because I didn't think they had a chance but man was Eddie Rosario a great pickup for the Braves.
This run is so impressive because as most know they lost Acuna a while ago but they also lost their ace Mike Soroka for the season as he didn't throw a single pitch.
Jorge Soler, Adam Duvall, and Eddie Rosario were deadline acquisitions and all three have been huge for the Braves with Acuna out. Soler in particular has carried the load. With KC he was batting a pathetic .192/.288/.370 but in Atlanta he raised that substantially to .269/.358/.524.
for yet again not sealing the deal? Fake COVID title aside all the trades and money they’ve spent got them nothing.
I think that they did everything to win but their best great pitchers just struggled versus the Braves. I didn't think we had a shot versus Buehler, Sherzer, and Urias.
Then you have not been paying attention. They cheated their way to a WS championship. In any other generation, the team would have been treated the same way as the Black Sox scandal.

Oh...that? Every team cheated. Astros just got caught.
Yankees cheated their way to titles in the 2000s w/ steroids..
My Mets cheated too...but just didn't do it well enough to win...
If they manage to win the World Series after losing Ronald Acuña halfway through the year that will be an accomplishment that I can’t recall an equivalent to. What team has lost arguably the BEST player in the game and went on to win a championship that same year? I’m sure s happened but I can’t recall it.

I hate both teams, but hate the Astros more so...go Braves?

Oh yes this isn't as thrilling as the Royals versus Mets world series or the Phillies vs Rays or the Giants vs Tigers.
No. That would be Yankees vs Braves. Or Yankees vs Phillies.
Take your pick...
