But don’t forget about 3 weeks ago we had threads from people saying they were jealous of them. That Tepper is brilliant because he uses analytics in business and gave Rhule the keys to the kingdom. Oh, and that they are brilliant for getting Sam Darnold on the cheap.

You had to know it was going south when Rhule said in a press conference that they’ve got to stop letting Sam Darnold throw the ball so much.
He is an average QB who can win games on a stacked team, be middle of the road on a mediocre team, and lose on a bad team (which is what he has largely done here).
He isn’t a bottom 10 QB. He is not a top 10 QB. He is an average QB. If he was a 3rd round pick he would be playing as expected. For the 6th overall pick you e pact to get a guy who elevates the team and makes the “wow” plays. He doesn’t do that.
If Gettleman had built a better roster around him he could be enough to run this offense successfully. But the team around him is garbage and he can’t elevate it with his skill set.
100% agree. Excellent perspective.
Is it possible, with all the injuries on offense, that the Giants team Jones is dealing with is worse in the NFL than his Duke was in the NCAA?
Possible.
It’s year number 3. His improvement from this point will likely be marginal. There is not some sort of straight line projection where QBs get better every year forever.
The point is with the team that has been on the field with him for most of his career, it's impossible to know what he is. Swap him in for Brady and let's see what he does. Or Stafford. People talked about how Stafford the same way when he was with the Lions. Are they saying that now that he has a team around him?

Not sure what’s so impressive about Matt Rhule so far.
We are only seven weeks in and he’s taken a beating.
That could easily happen unfortunately.
Well, that’s the first I’m hearing of this!

It is huh?! 😅
I can understand going up 2 TD’s when you are possibly dealing with Solder and Cunningham at OT

I'll give him credit for adapting but also it just shows what we are dealing with today
Carolina needs 2 TDs to win it. It was the right call to go up by 12.

+1.

We're about to find out

That makes sense; the commentators were saying stuff about his knee that might have been aggravated by Peppers sacking him.
Yes he did.
Yup, nice to see big Dex making his mark
Hopefully the later
