This is a game to build on — he played well as he did against New Orleans.
My recommendation to fellow Jones fans is to be happy he did well and not spend so much energy on I told you so’s.
1) He’s got a long way to go 2) It makes you look like a weenie.
What about the ones that are mostly silent after the Wash Game, after the N.O. game and after this game but come out in droves after the others?
I think the satisfaction of being a fan is based on being able to complain after the losses, and revel after the wins.
I think the lowest form of debate and interaction is putting words in anonymous people’s mouths, and then running head first into the straw men. That’s a dangerous proposition — often times right behind that straw man is a decent sized cliff.
the Saints. He passed for, what I forget, oh yeah 403 YARDS! He played exactly how he had to today, with the cast around him and if he could have stepped into that long throw to Slayton, he would have had 2 TDs and 250 yards passing.
No one can say how good he can be. There are a bunch of problems on this team. They have time to make a final decision on him. Work on the other issues.
Well done Dave, well done!🙌
RE: Bill I agree wholeheartedly but be careful my freind
The leaders of the anti jones Cabal are laying low and licking their wounds. Too many posts like this and when they recover they will wreak a terrible vengeance upon any who give him any praise. Let them cower in their layer for a little while
If they come after me, I'll just hide on the cooking threads :)

I think excusing one's behavior and dismissing them vs/ while tearing into another's behavior just because it doesn't support the narrative of the excuser is about as low as one can get - for those that do that.
If Jones is part of the solution moving forward? He has 10 more games with weapons hopefully coming back to prove it. The goal right now should be keeping it going against a struggling KC team.
fans were calling for Brady to retire after the game they got stomped in Kansas City a few years ago. Bill shuffles the line, they kick Cincinnati's ass and it's off to the races.
And he’s obviously still improving. Many posts talk about what he is in definitive terms but I don’t think we know yet how good he’ll end up being. Some guys take a little longer than others.
Who wants to engage in a total rebuild paying an average QB
Stop being obtuse. How about commenting on my question?
To me, the question is practically settled. The Giants need to start looking for another QB and it isn’t because Jones sucks, it’s because he is NOT a great player.
I'm still not sure what we have in Jones and I'm skeptical, but at least he took a big step forward today.

Anyone say yes to that?

IS it? I understand that if Giants kept him through 2023 his salary would only be around $20m. Not 30.
