That's not what my memory recalls. We put in calls to him and he basically told us no. Not no to the job but no to an interview. He was showing slight interest supposedly to put pressure on Carolina.

Many on BBI wanted to throw a ton of money at Rhule and were crying that the Giants let Carolina steal him from us.

And lets not forget last year (and probably this year after Carolina 3-0 start) that folks were whining that the Giants didn't get Rhule.

The bottom line is, both coaches suck! At least the Giants sucky HC was able to beat Carolina head to head.

Maybe it is just human nature, but the extent of exaggeration and all out myth making has really taken over BBI.

Because the delusional among us need ANYTHING to justify their belief that the Giants are on a path to success, so a win over an obviously flawed Panthers team in year two of an actual rebuild is enough to say that anyone who wanted the Giants to hire Matt Rhule is an idiot.

See also the posts about how Daniel Jones is better than Sam Darnold, as if there's any chance the Panthers end up paying Sam Darnold elite QB money EVER.

This was more a "in your face!" kind of jab at Carolina. I don't care who their HC is.

Its been a strange season

We should be 4-3 but for a couple of close losses

We are uncovering terrific new talent all over the roster...when they return from injury our O should shine

I had hoped the Saints game was a turning point but the team looked lackluster in Dallas

The biggest thing missing was confidence. After this blowout we should go into KC confident

There have been sooo many dropped INTs and those I attribute largely to lack of confidence

I understand why there are so many nay-sayers on here but as an eternal Giants optimist I cannot agree with their posts on draft advantage....that is loser talk

Lets continue this trend, beat KC and when we host Dallas in NJ perhaps the worm will have turned. Boy would I love to put them through what they just handed us.

He sucked long before yesterday.

But, getting absolutely SMASHED by a garbage Giants team is the definition of sucky.

The worst you can say is they did what they were supposed to do until this week.
