B McKinney and Moa need to be signed to the 53 man roster today. We cannot let these guys be poached.
The Prince, Roche and Ray Jay should play a lot more and Shelton, Carter and XMan should play a whole lot less.
Hernandez and Solder are really, really bad ... When Thomas comes back, Peart needs to go to RT and either Bredeson, Martin and / or Wilson (when he’s ready) should be given a look at RG ... they cannot be any worse.
EE should be traded or released ... his matchup advantages are a myth and he has no feel for the game. Twice yesterday he was stopped for minimal gain because he cut the wrong way off his blocks. At the very least, JG needs to stop building game plans around this guy.
Pettis needs to stay on the roster ... he’s got ability, flexibility, enthusiasm and seems to stay healthy. I’m not seeing much from John Ross.
I hope Aaron Robinson is a player ... Darnay Holmes has been a disappointment.
I’m still not sure why they signed Booker over Gallman or even Freeman. And what’s happened to Brightwell?
Enjoy the week.
Maybe it is guilt by association, but together they’ve been atrocious in both running and pass blocking.
You look to replace him.
When it comes to Engram, most BBI posters are like Shylock, looking for their pound of flesh.
Because I think it can be addition by subtraction ... as long as he’s around, JG will continue to build game plans around his supposed skill set. This hurts DJ overall and you just know at some critical point EE is going to mess up ... again. Unless he’s part of the future (which I hope he’s not), it’s time to move on.
Yeah, I mean we were hoping for Chris Snee and got Roy Simmons to be honest.
I think he's a backup NFL guard. The one thing he does bring is a bit of nastiness but that's not enough.
No way you spend anyone money on him, Giants need to upgrade at that guard spot.
Agree. I think he's been one of our better OL. Which isn't necessarily high praise on this OL, and yes we should be looking for a replacement in the draft, but you don't bench him now, not with other OL issues.
Curious to see what Sy has to say in his game review about Hernandez and the OL as a whole.

Trade yes. Release? That makes no sense.

We don’t have much else at tight end. Rudolph has been a bust.

i thought Hernandez had a solid game actually

One of our better OL? He’s been terrible all year and last year.
EE is who is and we have to ride that out until the end of this season.
Solder shouldn't be on the field period and Hernandez was god awful yesterday.
Billy Price is the least coordinated Center I have ever seen. He has no sense of balance.
Pettis is a keeper and needs to be used more.
Rudolph's blocking is the part that really steams me. The other stuff can be just scheme and a guy who is on the decline but blocking is technique and strength and Rudolph is no longer a plus blocker.
I like Johnson and Williams, Lawrence to a degree but doubt he is worth a second contract and Johnson III is a nice find.
AO is a nice developing player, Carter is a nobody who plays that way and Xman isn't ever going to be more than a jag. I would like to see Roche play more.
If we can get Thomas back healthy, Peart to develop at RT and maybe BB back at LG with Skura on hand as well, we might have something for the rest of this year.
Next year we still need T depth, starting G and C.
I think Engram is a huge turd...but he did make a great downfield block on a DJ run.
But because it’s cool to hate on him we have posters suggest we release him outright. Good stuff.
Gallman was a good North-South runner and thats about it. He was a liability is Pass-Pro, limited in his ability to catch the ball and clearly fell out of favor with multiple staffs.
Booker was a bright spot yesterday working well with DJ to protect and get out in space to provide a safety valve.
I think the smartest move they can make is kick the can down the road until after the 2022 season, franchise him if needed. They have too many other problems that need attention.

No it's not. The play I mentioned was his best play of the day. How many times did EE make a catch 7 yds short of the markers and go right down?
Is that a good example? I'm not defending Kaden Smith...but Engram has been a massive disappointment. How about I'd rather have Kaden Smith not turn the ball over?
Can't have that. Dumb players and/or bad coaching.
When your HC is an X special teams coach and specials suck (except for the kicker) that's a bad sign.
Was it every punt return had a holding call?
So glad they kept all these "special team players".
They are not so special.

Completely agree. The only thing we know for sure about Jones is he's got balls of steel.
Somehow whatever OT has played next to Hernandez has been atrocious. That was primarily Solder early in WH's career, and Solder was definitely not good himself. But then last year, Thomas's play improved when Lemieux replaced Hernandez.
Could be a coincidence, could be that Hernandez is part of the problem for whoever lines up next to him. Even Peart looked worse in the season opener lined up next to Hernandez than he did last year with Zeitler next to him, and he has looked at least somewhat more comfortable on the left side, away from Hernandez.
As to your Booker comments I can only say he's there over the others because he can actually pass block. He seems to pick up the blitz better than any RB they've had. I do not miss Gallman and I don't think we needed Freeman as our IR is pretty full as it is.
My impression is that the Giants and most other NFL teams apparently do not value him very much due to two things:
Poor pass protection,
and
Fumbling frequency.
Booker is better at these two vital things, especially for a G-men team that is so lacking and needy for pass pro and must also emphasize avoiding turnovers. He was not an expensive signing at $2,500,000 for the year. He is solid, not exciting, but he does his job.
Can we please move on from Wayne Gallman?
But because it’s cool to hate on him we have posters suggest we release him outright. Good stuff.
The love for him is more absurd than the hate, tho neither are appropriate. Releasing him is pointless. Signing him to a new contract is moronic. Trading him is the best option, if anyone is foolish enough to give a pick for him
