Kadarius Toney film review

Producer : 10/27/2021 1:48 pm
Christopher Harris does a nice breakdown of Kadarius Toney film with special attention paid to how he gets space immediately out of the break and his underrated ball skills.

He also breaks down Khalil Herbert in the same video, who we could have had instead of Brightwell. Herbert flashes elite cutting ability and quickness.
Khalil Herbert and Kadarius Toney are Future Stars in the NFL - 2021 NFL Season - ( New Window )
Thanks

Nice to see you make posts that don't involve repeating over and over how bad Daniel Jones is. Wish you had more of these, because this is a good post.

I thought Brightwell looked pretty good in limited action in the preseason. I know that's not saying much.

Stating the obvious - Toney's issue right now isn't skills, its health.
I was high on Herbert.

Reminded me of tiki with his running style not to mention Va tech. Brightwell still puzzles me. How bad is he that Booker starts over him and he doesn’t even see any snaps
Should have drafted Herbert

Best value at RB and maybe any position in this draft class...

The breakdown on Toney was great

Thanks for posting. I agree with what he said, I’ve seen enough from Toney to know he’s the goods, he’s going to be a hell of a player.

Had been hearing a lot of buzz on Khalil Herbert from Dan Schnier but had yet to see him play..definitely a fan of his after watching those plays….he would have been fun to have in NYG blue.
Believe Brightwell selection is on Judge

Supposedly a special teams terror. As an RB, jag.
This...

The giants historically use late round picks to seek out special teams contributors, not potential starters. You can disagree but that's how they operate.

clearly Brightwell had much more promise on specials

This, IIRC. Limited ability as an actual ball carrier but has very good hands - good catching the ball. But highly regarded ST player.
Brightwell has made plays on Special Teams

And when he has touched the ball he has looked the part. Not sure why they don't get him involved more (but I also felt the same about Penny).
it is pretty amazing how much Herbert

looks like Aaron Jones, from how they set to how they move and cut.
With even this small sample size

The highlights emphasize what we all saw with our own eyes.
The young talent is looking very very good
Toney
Ojulati
Thomas
Peart starting to look good as is Xavier M
If DJ and the big ticket vets can play up to expectations there is reason to think we can be a playoff team.
(Or we can be unbearably awful again..)
