I know some folks here were talking about this earlier this year, and it finally took off. I hopped on it yesterday and it's soaring today. How high can it go?
millions coins when it had 5 0's in the front of the price and sold many on the way up.
I still have about 7 million coins.
I was buying them when 1 million coins cost $20 (for perspective) because I thought owning a million coins would be cool. My buddy convinced me to buy more because it was only $20 per million.
because I was turned off by Coinbases fees. I made some decent money a few months back and went to rebuy after a dip and the cost was ridiculous. Its basically $0.15 per dollar which is nuts.
One day i'll spend some time and do it the right way but Coinbase is absolutely cleaning up with fees.
so on my $1000 50 million coin purchase I was hit with $4 which may not seem like a lot but in SHIB terms that was 200,000 SHIB at the time LOL
I bought something like $1500 in chainlink and coinbase wanted $25. That means to buy and sell i'm out a minimum of $50 (assuming I sell at a higher price) which on a modest $500 gain would be 10%. Its just nuts.

I think these would be significantly lower if you use the Coinbase Pro app and use limit orders where possible. Place the limit order like 0.5% out of the money, and while it may take some time to fill (or you may need to cancel and re-place at a new level if the market moves against you a bit), I'm pretty sure you will experience lower transaction costs since you are a market maker and not a liquidity taker.
SHIB isn’t supported on Coinbase. You can go to Coinbase Wallet to buy it on a decentralized exchange. Assets on Coinbase Wallet are not held by Coinbase.
What am i missing...
