Just realized that there is an episode of Dexter waiting on the table for me this morning. Miss that show, no matter how weird it got, it was a nice recovery at the end of a Sunday if the Giants pissed me off. And that was during the Coughlin days!
So hopefully after today's game it's even more horrid and disgusting than before! Who knows?
Fuckin' Lila. That was a very satisfying kill.
I hated that accent. so much. People hated Rita, partly because she was a soft-talker, maybe partly because she was a bad actress, and maybe partly the role sucked.
I disliked Lila more than I disliked Rita.
Maybe that's why they went heavy on the attractive trait in the casting, if someone is attractive enough people may overlook things about the role
What exactly makes it not hold up any way? Not enough purple filters? 2009 being old fogey stuff haha

I think that ending shocked everyone.
I hate reading novels so I couldn't help you out. But from what I've heard they're actually very good.
I do feel a little butchery
Yeah
I read 4 of them years ago because I am a big fan of the show. The first book "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" is the 1st season of Dexter. The rest are completely different from the show and from what I remember they were pretty good. If you are a fan of the show they are worth checking out.
Meh. I'm not a huge reader so I don't know if this is common or uncommon.
I should though. Reading is the spice of life.
Hope he gets Joe Judge on his table soon
But yeah. Seriously. Good stuff. I've been enjoying this season so far.
Last one before the big holiday week!
bump - ( New Window )
Just got done watching it. Very gripping.

I’m guessing next week will be mostly dexter escaping and dealing with kurts crony. Kurt trying to turn Harrison on dexter and the girls getting a step closer to finding out dexters secrets
Agreement
I liked it. Thought they'd do a bit more now that it's coming to an end soon. Hopefully they have the balls to do a few things I'd like to see happen.
Next week will be cool since I'll be in Chicago next week and streaming Dexter on my phone!
i think the ratings on showtime are 2 million but online I think I read last week reached 8 million. They might be thinking of doing more
I know the show is not a masterpiece by any means or it's not going to crack any top 10 "zine list" that all of those diamond-brained hipsters make but it is a fun show.
One thing I'm certain of is that the oil billionaire HAS to reappear in some way. There's no reason to have a character like that be so prominent for several episodes and then just vanish completely.
the scene with Harrison and Kurt in the cabin was great as was Dexter's trek through the snow escaping Kurt's buddy.
I didn't realize that Zach is Mark and Donnie Wahlberg's nephew.
3. Kurt "gutted" the downstairs, but (a) left the jacuzzi tub, but in cracked pieces in the corner of the luxurious bathroom, and (b) just as the chief is talking about searching every landfill (how many landfills are going to be in that area?), they show a close-up of some wall trim that's pretty distinct, so while Kurt "gutted" things, he was pretty fucking sloppy compared to other similar situations the show has featured.
4. As others have said, the chief getting immediate internet hits for whatever it is she's searching.
I wish the writers would tighten these and other things like it. The first two examples, just don't have Dexter SAY anything.
Still ... I'm choosing to set those things aside and I'm enjoying the show, overall.
I mean, Dexter DID waste someone at Miami Airport in the original show and Kurt did have a caustic remark when he said something along the lines to Harrison about how there are no cameras for the school to "protect the children" but everyone in town shits their pants over the white deer.
Kurt is builidng up be one of my favorite Dexter rivals. He's up there with Rudy and Trinity.
I guess sergeant Doakes, too. Lol.

I'm curious about the Billionaire as well. I figured he was bankrolling Kurt and maybe it was going to be a group of them killing people together.
Really? I didn't see that
She was watching some tour ( who'd ever think that people from a podcast would go on a tour) of a true crime podcast hosted by the hosts of the show and I was thinking it was going to be the small Auditorium and they pan to the audience and it's an NBA sized arena filled from top to bottom with young women lol. Not one dude in sight.
Merry fucking kill!

And did anyone notice the teacher/bartender was one of them
Really? I didn't see that
Apparently the girl who plays the bartender said on one of her social media it wasn’t her and she’s in episode 10 so 🤷♂️
