No more inside handoffs from the tight formation or jet sweeps that lose yardage. I’m going trips to the right side and Toney wide left to spread them out, DJ takes 1 step to the right and inside shovel pass to Rudolph Going back to the left ... What do you guys got?
Daniel Jones is a basketball player who no doubt knows how to throw a post entry pass. It's the same skill.
And if they overplay Golladay? Have Rudolph running a fade on the other side.
If both are double covered the middle routes are available.
I’d use two tallest receivers wide left and right, then two best blocking TEs inside them ( is that called a double slot?) with one in motion to seal the edge, and run Jones off the sealed edge with a pitch option to Barkley or throw to the receivers with one on one coverage.
You could even try this with Toney replacing Jones. Four tries from the 5 no way I settle fora FG!
almost anything else would be ok
You got Nate Solder sealing on the left side, you still want to go with this ?
Besides Thomas is coming back to LT, look a few threads up...
2nd Down - D. Jones with the naked bootleg
3rd Down - send D. Booker over the top
2) Engram jet sweeped no gain
3) Jones rolls out, no one open so he forces a throw that gets batted and nearly picked.
4) FG and judge is smiling

Exactly ... and that’s why I did this thread ... we need to help JG.
Followed by either a false start, delay of game, or play with blown assignments. It is the Giants way.

Or a touchdown, followed by the inevitable illegal formation.
Tyreke Hill was split wide right at the snap he runs accross the field toward the left
Mahome fakes right, and moves left.
He fakes a handoff to the running back moving to the right
Mahome has three options, run the ball, hand the ball off, or pass to Hill.
This play applies pressure on the inside linebackers, safties, and corners, and forces the defense to comit
Mahome faked the handoff and ran hard toward the corner forcing the safety and linebacker to attack him
This opened the middle of the field with a corner trailing Hill
Hill was wide open.
There was no good option to defend this play
Love to see a similar play call with the Giants.
Jones fakes to Barkley and throws to Toney crossing the field
almost anything else would be ok
Just sit Engram on short and goal. He's really not suited for it.
On first down with this QB and OL and I'm spreading the defense out as much as possible and giving Jones an inside the tackles run pass option while the WRs run crossers and closing my eyes and hoping he doesn't throw it to the wrong team.

Jones fakes to Barkley and throws to Toney crossing the field
QB is behind center, not in shot gun.
Now, we can run just about anything which will make it more difficult to defend against.
No fade routes.. our WRs do not run them well and Jones does not throw them well. Remove the play completely from the play book.
hah!

4) FG and judge is smiling
1) QB sneak to center the FG attempt
2) Gano kicks FG
3) Joe Judge on the sideline:
Then a 4 wide and pass to a tackle-eligible .
If needed a OG used to being run over falls down, the C pushes his man onto or away from the G. and OUR RB stepson him to vault himself over.
Though there’s a 75% chance of at least one holding call on the series, so with Dixon our secret weapon , given his problems , a pooch punt into the EZ and hope it’s bobbled, then let the fight begin.
Offense by Defense.
JFC - what a waste this investment has been...
I kinda like the jump-pass suggestion, too. The defense will always be looking for DJ on a QB draw up the middle. To stop him, they'll be aiming low and won't put up their hands.
Defense has to honor Toney speed and how quick he can reverse direction. That would put all eyes in the back field and not Rudolph.
Rudolph TD vs The Chefs - ( New Window )
EXACTLY. You signed a 6'7 TE for a reason. Throw him the FUCKING Ball. There should be AT LEAST one play to KR every time they are in that position.
Not rocket science.
This is a good option. Or go the opposite direction and spread the formation and then run the triple option that they have started to toy with recently.
If Barkley is back to full health, that gives us Penny on a dive, and then isolate the edge to commit to either Jones or Barkley.
We're at DJ's mercy to read the defense, but if he's the guy, he's going to have to do that.

When's the last time Solder played LT, pangolin?

6'7"? I assume you tack on an inch in all of your conversations?
