Logan Ryan had a positive COVID-19 test, per Joe Judge. They’re waiting for one final test but they don’t think this is a false positive like they had a few weeks ago. So the Giants almost certainly without their captain in the secondary Monday night vs. the Bucs.

Logan Ryan is asymptotic & vaccinated. Have to believe he’s still hoping there is a path where he could play Monday night. #NYG #NYGvsTB
in the more northern states and more and more breakthrough cases will probably emerge. I would be surprised if more teams are not impacted by this as we get into the colder months.
Jon hopefully the owner continues the generosity and gives his loyal fan base what we deserve a competent front office without any nepotism. Some whom understands the modern day NFL and how to properly construct a roster from a fit and scheme point of view. Also must have to understand proper cap management.
There are positive cases scattered all over the nfl right now

A Giants player tests positive and it only takes about 15 posts for it to turn into yet another rant about front office incompetence, nepotism and cap management?
Newsflash - there’s a virus going around. Would suck if Ryan is out this week, but glad he sounds OK. Still not sure what that has to do with nepotism and cap management…
RE: RE: These players are always in contact with each other
This has the potential to turn in disaster news if more names come up.
if players are vaccinated they are not aubject to close contact protocols
They're going to need to change that. If you're vaxed or unvaxed you can still get the virus and still spread it. Should have the same protocosl to be consistent.
but don't let fact get in the way. If getting vaccinated had no effect on transmission, how would you explain the dramatic decrease in infections (until the Delta variant started raising havoc)?
We have a vaccine that as far as I can tell is pretty effective in preventing one from getting the virus or getting seriously ill if there is a breakthrough.
Yet the virus continues to disrupt the world even to the extent that in some places being vaccinated brings with it no changes from the restrictions of not being vaccinated

Good thing the NFL isn’t one of those places, right?

mfsd, my thoughts exactly. Listen, I'm no fan of management/ownership over the past decade or so, but blaming Mara or DG on this is absurd. As you said, we're in a fucking pandemic. Thankfully Logan is vaxxed so he should be fine, but blaming the Giants FO or ownership for this is bananas.

Hopefully soon it ends. Tired of those weirdo propaganda "it takes two!" COVID PSAs. Ugh.
I don't think you completely eliminate a virus but I do strongly believe that it will take widely available, proven therapeutics to get us all through this. Vaccines alone won't do it. A great start, but we need complementary effective treatments to deal with breakthroughs. I have vulnerable relatives who very recently had breakthroughs and were greatly helped by monoclonal antibody IV's. Hopefully we can all call on similarly effective oral meds in the not too distant future.

What he said is factual. Vaccinated people can and do spread Covid. Why do you think there was a major outbreak in Israel after >90% of the population had been vaccinated?

The worst thing that could come out of this is close contact with McKinney, who is not vaccinated
Then we’d be starting Love and Reed, or possibly someone else from the PS. And we may even see Ebner (LOL)
Wash your mouth out with soap for that kind of sacrilegious talk.

McKinney is on the record as being unvacced according to the beats...that would be quite a blow if it came down to it.

That is all.
If he is: unfortunate
If he isn't: selfishness!
We could be 4-6!!
