Joe Judge said there’s still a “small chance” Logan Ryan can still test out and play Monday night, but it doesn’t sound like he’s optimistic about that happening. #Giants

Joe Judge said Nick Gates has started getting back involved with meetings and is rehabbing in the #Giants facility with trainers.
Progress early in what will be a long recovery process for him.

There is still a very slim chance Logan Ryan can play Monday. He'd have to remain asymptomatic and have two negative tests 24 hours apart. Technically that could come Monday morning, in which case the Giants would throw him on a plane and get him to Tampa.

Joe Judge says Nick Gates has been back around the team and in squad meetings as he recovers from the leg fracture he suffered in Week 2. He is one of the team's captains and Judge said he (and others on IR like Martinez and Peppers) continue to act in that role.

The Giants can't take Logan Ryan with them on the flight tomorrow, so if he produces a negative test tomorrow, they'll have contingency plans to get Ryan to Tampa in time for Monday's game, provided he produces another negative test Monday.

UPDATE: The Giants placed DB Logan Ryan on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Game Statuses for MNF
Out:
LB Lorenzo Carter (Illness/Ankle)
DB Nate Ebner (Knee)
DB Logan Ryan (Reserve/COVID-19)
WR Sterling Shepard (Quad)
Questionable:
RB Saquon Barkley (Ankle)
RB Devontae Booker (Hip)
FB Cullen Gillaspia (Calf)
TE Kaden Smith (Knee)
Weird situation... they officially ruled him out but according to the team's press release, he can still play if he passes a second test.
I'm not sure why they wouldn't list him as questionable or doubtful.
