Surprised no thread on this, but I just say: WHAT. A. FIGHT!! Porter came in with a great game plan and it seemed to be working until the man known as Terence “Bud” Crawford ended him in the 10th. Some might say the stoppage was premature but I thought it was appropriate. Crawford proved why he’s one of the greatest to ever lace them up. Time to make the Crawford Vs Spence fight happen. Kudos to Porter, he put up a hell of a fight.
But, I didn't necessarily have an issue with the stoppage in the moment because Bud would have put him out cold, best finisher in boxing right now.
It seemed like around rd. 7 Crawford figured him out, and he purposely held back throwing the left hand up top until later in the fight. First knockdown was beautiful.
Porter seems like such a genuine dude, sucks to see him come up short in these big fights.
Take all of my money so i can watch Spence - Crawford.
