They lose offensive linemen, and wide receivers(in the giants case, it’s also their running backs).
Dak doesn’t beat the better teams. He is a a 4th round pick with a great supporting cast.
Nah, key play makers out, poor offensive line play would never keep a quarterback like Dak from performing well.
He s just off today
Ball was on the ground when kc db hit the wr

Troy Aikman? Is that you?
Hahaha, good one.
Troy sounds like he's about to cry
Spags playing bend don't break...of course Dallas has no Timeouts and as soon as the Chiefs get the ball the game is over as long as 30 or 40 more secs tick off the clock.
9 points on the board. Funny how that works.
The gravitational pull they both have brought them together
9 points on the board. Funny how that works.
Shhhhhhh
What do you think? Do you think missing half your starting OL and basically every skill position player on the team has any effect on performance?

Cowboys look like shit without Tyron Smith, Cooper & Lamb.

Well, I guess that settles it - Jones = Dak.
ANYWAY. Fuck Dallas.

Which is it then? I see people on BBI often get infuriated with the thought of Mara citing injuries for the subpar season to date. Is that valid?

They were fairly healthy during the early part of the season and still weren’t effective minus the last 20 minutes of the Saints game

Could be.
It's getting harder and harder to find a credible football analyst that doesn't think Jones is doing a good job given the circumstances.
Take what DAL had tonight - then subtract Elliot and their starting C too. That's what Jones has been working with basically all year.

Not what I asked.

Well they looked like shit while Lamb was in the game so cross that one off.

The performance blew before the injuries.
This team lost home games to Denver and Atlanta. That's what this team is.
If you watch the rest of the league honestly you can see the Giants are near the bottom of it.
It's just a shitty team.
Bullshit on a shingle. Par for the course too.

Well you admit that you don’t watch a lot of football so I’ll give you a pass for not realizing that there is a ton of shitty football played every Sunday. The Giants aren’t as far away from most of the teams in the league as you like to proclaim. But you wouldn’t know that. You do your player evaluating on Google “stats” and Madden.
Also, judging what this team is and will be based on the first few games of the season is as amateurish and disingenuous as it gets. They sucked in week one so that means they suck! Haha, classic dipshit stuff right there. Is there any other team in the league that is getting judged right now on what they were at the beginning of the season? Of course not. Because it’s fucking stupid.
And guess what? The Giants fucking blow on all three screens.
Give it up already.

Has it ever occurred to you that Jones is still mediocre and inconsistent even if the team is fully healthy?
I feel pretty comfortable taking the position that Dak and that staff had a bad day. Their second in three weeks. That happens. Mahomes, for example, went through a slump for much of October.
But if these mental gymnastics make you feel better about Jones, than feel better...
Denver? Atlanta? The first 10 minutes of the Dallas game? Even Washington it was mostly FGs.

First half of Dallas game*

Three tvs? PlayStation on one, XBox on the other and whatever random soccer game you can find on the third. Congratulations. You’ve got yourself a real nerd paradise there! But hey, you liked the stats you seen from Lamar Jackson in college, so you must be a genius! You’ve gotten a shit ton of mileage out of that one.
Look at Arizona. Winning with Colt. Giants need better players and coaching. It’s not just the QB.
Giants primary issue for going on a decade still remains. They too often loss the physical and athletic battle. Hopefully getting guys back helps.

It pretty difficult to have watched Dak look fairly hopeless when forced to deal with similar circumstances that Jones has dealt with most games this season, and not even consider the possibility that the , Giants might not have performed much better with Dak at the helm this season.
What we saw out there in KC definitely puts a some doubt in the argument that Jones is what is wrong with this offense.

Seriously it’s like half the jones brigade are just waiting for a good team to have an off day with injuries to be like ”see told you !!!!!!” It’s just impossible to play well when you have injuries and pressure”
But that is totally bullshit. Golladay has missed time when he has been in the line up — how many TDs does he have ??? 0
Barkley when he plays how many 100 yard games does he have ?
Toney?
What did they do before Thomas got hurt(the only n0ne jag — and yes Lemuel and gates are jags)— what did jones do???
Nothing !!!!
Amazing we all agree gettle is a screw up but on the most important position on decision he drafted a third round pick who never got any better but he’s a good QB playing on a bad oline... what nonsense

But there’s also been times Dak has put that team on his back. Teams have bad games.

We've seen Prescott look better running Garrett's offense, though.
If this team was healthy what are we, 4-5 best case scenario? It’s insane.
Not too many are arguing the Giants haven’t been a bad team, I think the argument has been about Jones ‘ role in it

Dak, IMV, has done more than enough to earn the benefit of the doubt. Jones hasn't.
I do agree that Jones hasn't been dealt the best hand. But I'm still not sure he's the solution, either.
Frankly, I watch him hoping to see something where I say, "Wow, that was different. That's what we need..."
Have you ever said that? More than once? Twice?
I think the playoff teams will need at least 3 of the 5 following the back half of the year:
- Top tier head coach who makes few to no mistakes on game day
- Top tier QB who can make plays with his feet and arm when under pressure
- A consistent, crisp offensive line
- A game wrecking unit on defense (either secondary or pass rush most likely)
- Odds defying health across the whole team
I’m not sure the Giants have one of those.

3-6, second worst record in the league the last five seasons, and some superfans can't bring themselves to say this shitty team is shitty. It's amazing.

There are definitely people arguing the Giants are only bad because of the injuries
