What did you guys think? Looked like a pretty bad cheapshot but hard to tell if it was intentional. I want to know what they then said to each other because that kid went nuts.
to throw an elbow, not to open a gasket on Stewart's eyebrow.
The blood was what made Stewart blow it out of proportion. People tend to get irrational when that much blood pours out of their head, particularly the painless, profuse kind of bleeding around the eyebrows and forehead.
Did it on purpose and should be made example of. If the roles were teversed, Stewart would be out 10+ games. What Stewart did was unecessary and he should be suspended too
if you can't hit a man in the face off the court, you shouldn't be able to on the court. And since LeBron has established that he doesn't believe in the right to a fair trial, he should automatically be found guilty and serve the maximum sentence.
Nut, on the overhead shot, James clearly swings his elbow. O, while he may not have I tended to open a nice gash, he did swing with intent. It was a cheap shot. I won't go so far as to say Steqart was right, because he was absolutely nuts. But, I will say his respo se was somewhat understandable. It also seems somebody must have said something to set him off in the first scuffle.
Lebron certainly isn't innocent here. I haven't heard anything like that. Stewart was over the top physical on the "box out" if you can call it that, but you can't do what Lebron did. He was ejected as he should have been. It's a flagrant 2. He'll get suspended a game or 2.
But Stewart will get more. You can't go nuts, fighting your way through a crowd to get to the guy who hit you. He nearly started a brawl. I think he'll be out a while and fined a lot.

You realize a lot happened before he went nuts right? He got cheap shotted + whatever was said to him afterwards.
LeBron tried sneaking in an elbow, and regardless of what his intent was he caught a guy in the eye. He fucked up and should be suspended it for it.
Also, fake tough guy LeBron is an absolute treat to watch.
LeBron and his career are cheap manufactured garbage
but Stweart was basically nose to nose with him right after the contact happened and didn't do a thing.
Everyone gets tougher and tougher as the number of people standing between them and their target increases.
I did like that DeAndre Jordan was standing in the pocket just ready for it. He was ready for the smoke. He didn't escalate it, but he wasn't moving an inch.
2 guys exchange words and walk away. Then shit is yelled and the numbers gather and more people say things they shouldn't. Stewart could have cracked in in the face right after it happened and didn't.
Stewart should too for throwing around his coaches like an idiot. I don’t think LeBron meant to land it on his face, but it was too dangerous and he should get a little one game suspension. It certainly wasn’t Artest on Harden levels of dirty.
Westbrook is such a clown for squaring up to the way he did, and I love Westbrook as a person. Cade being right in the middle trying to calm Stewart down says something about him. Not the smartest decision but I think it shows that he’s a good teammate.
I suspect Stewart got more upset when he realized James didn’t just elbow him in the face, but actually split his face open.
Picture this — you’re walking down the street and someone bumps pushes around you and elbows you in the face. Then you realize a few seconds later you realize he split your eyebrow. What do you do?
I don’t think he was afraid and did the antics when he was held back. Stewart also got involved with one of the fakest tough guys ever, Blake Griffin earlier this year too.

Lebron has been coddled and protected for most of his life. I’m guessing he hasn’t been in an actual fight since the 3rd grade. If even then. His fake tough guy act is hysterical.
LeBron knew what he was doing
That was a playground move he was pissed and wanted to hurt Stewart
Perhaps he did not intend to hit Stewart’s head but it was done with malice intent
Throwing elbows happen all the time many are inadvertent
There have been many incidents of players getting teeth knocked out and worse
I don’t blame Stewart for his reaction
It was bush league and should not be tolerated by the NBA
The NBA is treading a fine line they let Jokic off and if they let LeBron off the NBA will become the Wild West
there are some insane people in this thread. Pretty impressive how LeBron manufactured a 20-year HOF career in the NBA. I guess the defenders have all been taking an inch off of their contests to let him score all these years? LeBron should be in jail? You ever watch sports bro?
I also think you can see on the video that LeBron was legit afraid of him at one point during the scuffle, and realized he went too far.
And then Stewart lost his damn mind lol.

hahaha, RJ catching strays in this thread about a draft he wasn't even a part of? wtf?
Certainly not a Knicks fan, but this perhaps speaks of your ignorance of other players, rather than RJ's deficiencies. Stewart is a good young player.
Are you really saying something about James with that post?

He is a hypocrite and an asshole too. I hate everything he stands for. From his manufactured career success to his political opinions.

I think the suspensions were right.
