misses way too many reads for a 3rd year guy who was that of as a very cerebral quarterback coming out of college.
I'm also not sure why Griese (and others) refer to him as a young quarterback who Garrett shouldn't let him make a decision on 3rd and 14. Take the ball out of his hands.
He's in his 3rd year. If you still have to take the decisions out of his hands then you need a new quarterback.
I dont agree with Griese at all on that, but it's interesting the way others look at Jones.
they drive. Toney has a beat on man, and Golladay was wide open too. Offensive line was actually ok on that drive. We need better QB play (along with a defense that has a pulse) to have a shot tonight.
The game commentators just called it out- Jones missed two open receivers on back to back plays, never coming off his first read. These are the things that are not quantifiable, but limit Jones’ upside as a qb.
Yup.
...a bad play
We try to matriculate down the field and it gets harder as you get closer.
Gano is our MVP.
Well... is the same roster and same coaches. You tuned in tonight expecting to see a different team?
Oy vey.
Statistically they are.
Be proud of what’s on the field! Lol! Douche
Byron Leftwich isn't calling the plays, we all know Brady calls the plays.
Chargers would laugh at us..

I care. Can I be QB of the Giants and make tens of millions.
Seriously though, at least we got 3. Just need the defense to stiffen up here and we’re right back in the game!
Let’s go defense!
Yes that was god awful.
Just go back and look at the plays Tampa ran vs what we ran. Zero imagination
This is what they came up with after 2 weeks of self scouting?
