we really did a nice job of bringing in decent backup RBs. They did the job (sans Stewart).

Gettleman drafted Barley the year that he could have drafted Josh Allen (qb) on the 1st round and Nich Chubb on the 2nd round. Instead, he drafted Barkley and Will Hernandez.

Easy to say in hindsight. We could have had Mahomes or Watt too. If you want to be critical say we should not have picked a RB with the second overall pick. Allen had the worst completion percentage of the big name QBs and against inferior competition at Wyoming. We likely would not have selected him either. Sometimes the lightbulb goes on for guys late.

Let’s face it, Saquon Barkley is one of the biggest busts of all time. He’s all sizzle no steak. I thought he had a few nice runs then realized it was Booker. They need to move on as soon as possible. He is a net negative to the offense.

For you, this is hindsight. For me, it was what I wanted the Giants to do in 2018.
