I DO NOT FUCKING GET THIS. Out of all of the bullshit coming out of this team, this makes the least sense. There is NO reason, NO benefit for playing Solder over Peart.
What could possibly be going on behind the scenes for this to happen?

But we saw Peart play, and he already has played better than Solder when on the field (and at LT, not RT).
We've seen Peart enough to know that even if he isn't "good", hes not as bad as Solder.

I agree that those are probably the reasons, but the season is over. We need to know if Peart can play, and doing so is his only chance to improve.
Hernandez should be benched. His bad play shouldn't keep Peart off the field.
and they didn’t know if AT could get through a game. Peart is not and will never be as bad as we saw Solder perform this year! Solder is constantly getting pushed back, a gate or on his ass?! I mean WTF with Solder! He’s been absolutely HORRENDOUS this year and Hernandez is really not much better to his left.

They're both terrible, but yes, the whole is less than the sum of the parts.
why is he in the lineup when we got Thomas back. He has been getting run over. Let Peart take the other side. My god that was hard to watch him and Hernandez get crushed. Look at Brady line and no one gets through. Watched Giants every pass A guy ran in free and clear of the Olineman.
